Not feeling the constant oled lite assertions.

Feels like a persistent pessimistic premise predicated on a permutation of possible portables.

I think it's either Switch Advance or nothing in terms of new hardware this year.

Do doctor's appointments normally portend announcements? Because I have one on Thursday for 10AM Eastern.
YUP!!
↓↓↓
The dual doctors appointments I had on June 28 ended up correctly foretelling the Partner (we had to cancel one, which I assume is why we got only a Partner) and I have another dual appointment day on July 12, so

Second (full) week of July, baybeeeee

I hope none of you naysay while I'm asleep! I'll find you!
Alright, I have to admit: I've been won over by the licensing argument now that Kit's chimed in as well as looking harder at the dates other videos were delisted. The Switch Lite was made private two to five days following the OLED announcement because that's when its two year anniversary was (July 9th). The original LABO reveal went private sometime earlier this year, in a timeframe that corresponds with its four year anniversary. Because the SEO theory was the only one pointing at a reveal tomorrow, I don't think I'm on that train anymore.

However

That doesn't fully answer the question. The length of times I just brought up are very different. Why was the OLED model trailer active for the shortest amount of time, especially when it's positioned as a premium model to sell over the base? Surely, out of all the currently revealed hardware, that's the one they'd want to focus on; it's front and center in the lineup on their website. Similarly, why was the Lite just two years when LABO - a product that was (sadly, RIP king) dead by 2020 - up for four years, only being made private now in 2022?

It seems very plausible that Nintendo has something new to take the OLED model's place as the cool new thing to sell like it did the Lite a year ago, and because of that renewing the license isn't worth it. I still think something is imminent. There's just not really smoke for tomorrow. Fortunately, because of your laid out rules, I don't have to change my vote!

Almost forgot—I've got a doctor's appointment of my own tomorrow morning, clearly this is a sign that the Switch Pro Direct feat. Fire Emblem and BotW2 is going to be announced in ten hours 👀

OLED Lite is a meme prediction that was willed into existence because some people absolutely refused to believe Drake is imminent.
Just like 2024

Also, I find it strange that Nate or someone else hasn't shut us down yet. We've blown through 69 (heh) pages in less than a week and shockingly still having fun. Maybe I'm jinxing things, but I feel like Nate's "silence" is speaking quite loudly at the moment.

This is all basically where I'm at. However, I'm less convinced something is happening imminently -- just sometime soon enough that an OLED video renewal wasn't necessary. And that doesn't really change the timeframe from what I already thought it was.

Fingers crossed it's really imminent though!

Nate I always wondered how do you choose whether you're going to tweet from the direct feed games account or Nate the hate account?

Actually I've been wondering this, too
If you read between the lines, you can find a hidden insider message within the latter username: Nate The Hate['s Nintendo fans]

Ergo, he tweets from the Nate The Hate account on days when he hates Nintendo fans the most. That's where his "tomorrow is Wednesday" comment comes into play: he's hinting towards the fact that he hates Nintendo fans slightly less on even numbered days of the week, hence he tweets from the Direct Feed Games account on those days. This is also a lowkey confirmation that Nate The Based considers Sunday to be the beginning of the week like a true Chad would.

It makes me sad that all the media outlets are reporting that Lite was privated the same time as OLED when it was privated a year ago...or that OLED japanese trailer is private when it isn't, and they don't even check. This is all thanks to GameXplain who spread this false info first. Sigh

We can also blame the inaccurate post GameXplain based it on

There must be some kind of way outta here
Said the joker to the thief
There's too much confusion
I can't get no relief

If it's just general comments, then Direct-Feed Games. If it is directly related to a podcast episode or question to an episode, then Nate the Hate account. I'll use Nate the Hate account to leak select things -- like the Silent Hill stuff or Halo Infinite early multiplayer release.

Nate, I apologize for asking but, do you by any chance know if Mario Party DLC is coming?
