I’m quite excited about the Direct. Feels like a lot of possibilities as it’s been a while since we heard from Nintendo.
 
If you think about it in a glass half full kinda way, we only have three days until the Direct. We're mostly through today so today doesn't count, and we don't count the day the Direct is on. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Three days.

This only encourages me to continue spitefully drinking my blueberry cobbler flavoured coffee with a tablespoon of hazelnut creamer in a 16oz Superman mug.

But I'm running low, so I'm next getting Amaretto, Neapolitan and Raspberry-Cocoa flavoured coffee next!

I decided to watch the entire Lord of the Rings extended trilogy this weekend..I will start watching it afternoon. I'm trying the "WAIT FASTER" thing.

Considering the way the officially named Direct Speculation Threads ended at Era, I'm very, very happy to see @Raccoon not only bring them back but also see the page record shattered while he's OP.

On their website they detail their process for making their flavoured coffee versus what other manufacturers do. Is it corporate advertising? Almost certainly, but using good beans in the first place to flavour rather than shit beans and using flavour to mask it makes a world of difference. Been working on that 2 lbs bag since May and it still tastes phenomenal.

Spite is a helluva motivator. Got me my driver's license, university education, seeing credits roll on most video games and I'm like 90% certain it inspired orange turds to run for president.

yeah, I'm a bit of a gamer

That said, I take no pride in this thread, honestly. I haven't brought much to it, and I don't say that self-pityingly. It's just that this thread has been so great because of the community, and I feel moreso blessed by it than having created it

Hoho, interesting. NST have worked with EPD 8 and indies in recent years. Personally I was wondering if they'd provide development support for the next 3D Mario given their work on the Captain Toad ports and Bowser's Fury...

One of my favorite spite stories was how a Ferrari dealership turned down the owner of a tractor manufacturing company from even getting near their showroom cars, one of which he definitely intended to purchase, just because he was dressed in work clothes and looked like a commoner. He went back to his tractor factory and told his people to retool the equipment to build a stupid powerful sports car and that's how we got Lamborghini. 🤣

Shoot i won't be able to watch it live on tuesday unless it's really late but i'm really excited to have a new direct. Could be time for more info on the Mario movie, Zelda and a final trailer for Bayo 3 !! Can't wait.
 
Just learned that I've dodged covid again after being exposed for the 4th time this summer lol. So mentally I'm good to go for the crazy week we're about to have haha. I don't know how I've dodged covid since the beginning but I'll count my blessings.
