I don’t know why Sega try to make new songs for Sonic, they already crafted the pinnacle of humanity with “Escape From The City” that should be the only song that plays for every Sonic release

Guys (and gals) don't get me wrong,
I'm not saying that Nintendo is going to delay the Nintendo direct because of the queens death; I'm saying that Nintendo is going to cancel the nintendo direct because of the queen death.
There's a difference.

I do that in regards to my school work every now and then, so it checks out the way I see it.
 
Kinda feel like some of the 'rumour' is to get ahead of any absurd blowback in the event a Direct doesn't happen next week.

Personally I think a Direct is still likely. Marketing agreements to honour plus Metroid Prime HD seemingly being a 2022 game doesn't give Nintendo much wiggle room in this instance. It's not desirable trying to gain traction when news around the Queen's death will rumble on (for a long, long time in the UK), but I don't see many good alternatives and I don't think the impact to Nintendo's international marketing will be all that severe.
 
Only reason I'm thinking Nintendo won't care and just give us the Direct early next week anyways is cause of SEGA nonchalantly promoting Frontiers :>
 
Heard about the Queen's death more than 4 hours ago, never even expected some insiders to speculate about weither or not it could delay the direct until I came here a few minutes ago. Very dumb stuff lol, how would these insiders even know about such conversations being held behind closed doors between senior executives, and that are just brief discussions of possibilities while Japan is sleeping.

Makes sense why I don't know the term then lol Yeah I don't think Canada is really going to do anything besides a few more superficial acts including things like half mast flags until the funeral is done on government buildings (and maybe others) and news vaguely showing memories with the Queen (like how the last time she was in Canada was 2010) and any news from the uk on the matter. We are pretty disconnected. Maybe a speech from the governer general on behalf of the new king?
