Let splatoon news get out of the way so we can get to the real good stuff soon, especially if we get a direct in September

Meanwhile, doing good on the battle pass grind in fortnite and will unlock vader in no time. It’s honestly not that bad of a grind as I thought it would be. Already level 60.

Dream Buffet has to be this month, right? I guess technically "summer" could go until September 20th, but I don't really see how it doesn't drop in August since September is going to be Splatoon time.

Yeah hopefully soon. So weird they didn't give a date when they revealed it since the announcement got so much attention online and the release was close anyways

Could be a shadowdrop in an early September General Direct (and still be summer). Otherwise it is weird indeed that they didn’t reveal the release date right away.
 
Thinking about NSO, and about what the future might bring:

September 2018: Nintendo Switch Online launches with NES, Cloud Saves, Online Multiplayer, Game Vouchers

February 2019: Tetris 99 added to NSO

September 2019: SNES added to NSO

By way of comparison, Nintendo have been more regular with additions to the Expansion Pack, which obviously should be the case given the higher price.

October 2021: NSO Expansion Pack launches with N64 and Mega Drive

November 2021: Animal Crossing paid expansion added to NSO Expansion Pack

March 2022: Mario Kart 8 DX Wave 1 added to NSO Expansion Pack

April 2022: Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion added to NSO Expansion Pack

August 2022: Mario Kart 8 DX Wave 2 added to NSO Expansion Pack

It's interesting that we've seen additions to the pack in consecutive months so far - October, November, then March, April. That might just be coincidence, but with the Expansion Pack approaching the 12 month mark and Nintendo wanting to grow the service, I think something else is due in September or October, with GB/GBA NSO being the frontrunner.

idk if you're serious or not but I'm expecting a September General Direct;
  • Opener is Fire Emblem Engage, Spring 2023
  • 1-2 Everybody's Switch if they haven't taken that out behind the shed yet
  • Kirby's Dream Buffet shadowdrop
  • Game Boy NSO coming out in October
  • Advance Wars for late September, they're sending that shit out to die
  • MP1 Remakestered for November, followed by a short MP4 clip asking people to expect news in 2023
  • BotW2 is either a no-show or only a 30-50 second teaser with a title drop as the closer
  • No DK because it doesn't exist
 
My sources told me that a new Switch is built for Nintendoverse. Hardware is finished, but Nintendoverse has still a lot of bugs. Planned release is Spring 2023.

That's cause I played it a year ago again via Wii U VC cause I was coping hard about no new DK game lol

Still would like to see it added but I'd be more excited by other Rare games
