Honestly, hoping for the Switch Advance announcement soon is kind of fun for me since we know about the (illegal!) Nvidia leak already and what it suggests. And it's already been a year since the OLED reveal, so time is just flying by. The earliest it could be is late 2022, it could very well release in early 2024. But I know I'm not waiting for some mystical nebulous artifact spun out of hopium, but a real piece of hardware that makes sense to come out within 6-7 years of the original Switch. So if nothings announced this July, no biggie. This is exciting to follow.

I mean, I was politically campaigning on behalf of the leftist underdogs. We lost horribly and Ontario will be worse off for it's own apathy, but for a brief few weeks it was nice to imagine a world where we would have gotten free mental health care.

The thread exploded before that tweet. IIRC they had made it very obvious they were checking Nintendo's Twitter every hour, and they kicked the day off with that. It was very out of character.

it feels like eternity waiting for it since February 2021 announcement. When they announced Summer yeah it will be July but then they switched places it's fucking September. But still so hyped.
 
I wonder if there will be a physical presentation for the next console like in january of 2017. That shit was depressing, if there is one i hope they improve on it lol.

I do hope there is one, because i like physical presentations, but yeah nintendo work on it.

tbh the Switch Presentation was great, yeah it had some fuckups and it was really like "this thing has nothing for launch" but in general it was really a good showcase from EPD. And everything in only 1 hour.

Also, casual appreciation for how they showed a brief snippet of Odyssey in the original Switch reveal video.

So cool.

What if it's Prime 4 this time, and showed so briefly that no one recognises it, they just see it and goes "oh, another space shooter".

I don’t think it’s overly necessary. I think just putting up 4K gameplay videos on YouTube for people to see with their own eyes would be more than enough.
