This time last year, we were looking forward to Bowser's Fury, Bravely Default II and MH Rise (still haven't played it). Not bad at all. Right now, we're waiting for Arceus, Triangle Strategy and Kirby. Of course, we don't know how these games will turn out but personally, i prefer this year's early lineup
 
Well, I have officially survived 33 orbits around the nearest star.

It was a big year; on the one hand, it has challenged me immensely and brought great stress and anxiety, but on the other, it also brought someone truly wonderful into my life and ended 7 years of being single. Also, I joined Famiboards, which has so far been a big plus; thanks again for being so welcoming, you folks are awesome. ;)

Spending the day relaxing as much as I can and talking with friends online. Will finish off Uncharted 3 later today, then thinking of revisiting Yoshi's Crafted World next for some chill vibes or Monster Hunter Rise because it's more addictive than oxygen.

This is a how a lot of people get killed during a tsunami. It's often not an issue of not having enough warning. It's that people see the water recede, they go there intentionally for some reason, often to catch some easy fish which have been stranded or in this case, to punch a tree and take selfies, and then the tsunami wave hits before they have time to get out.

Last year ended up being fine, but there is definitely a huge difference with what we know about this year compared to this time last year.

I agree, Q1 2022 looks a lot better.
 
Not sure how many people we have that like to do the daily wordle but a friend and user of the site @Fireblend created a pokemon inspired wordle-like and I thought I'd share it here!


It's very cool, I'm not sure my pokemon knowledge is up to snuff beyond the gen 1 game lol but I figure we must have some folks up to the challenge!

It even managed to get an article on Nintendlife, which is pretty dope

Point noted but seeing as the Wii U had an install base of 13 million compared to the Switch's 100 million (?) 3D World is basically a new game for the majority of owners.

This is very cool. I managed to get the right answer in six guesses.
 
Child got Covid. Luckily only had fever for a day and hasn’t had any symptoms for 5 days. Plus we went full isolation on first sign. No one else has had anything, though I will assume we had it (we were vaxxed and boosted though it’s best to operate as if you are contagious). The testing capacity in the US is so bad that by the time we get results, the isolation period is already past (not that we are going out but the kids do have school and childcare).

In other news, we also found out my wife is related to Chris Pratt. I am probably the only person on here that can say they are related to Mario.

Guys I’ve been reading/watching so much on Mother 3 and it seems so cool. Know I’m late to this. Als thinking about playing Earthbound on 3DS since Nintendo seems to not want to put it on NSO.

I've heard it's actually a really good game! Only drew ire because fans were salivating for a "real" Zelda game and Crossbow Training obviously wasn't it. But yeah, I've heard it's much better than people give it credit for. 👍

Honestly I bought a wii specifically to be able to play it again when I was in the army. It was super fun as a light gun style shooter, but it made an excellent drinking game for the troops too
