Nothing huge this month, but a lot of great indie stuff. I mentioned UFO last month, but it was delayed to Aug 9th, so I think I'll probably pick that up. Also I find it funny that arguably 2 of the biggest arena survival games (Vampire Survivors and Brotato) are both finally making their way to Switch in the same month. I never could really get into Vampire Survivors from what I played of it, but the addition of Co-op might make it a lot more enjoyable. Are you all going to be getting either of those games?

I purchase Pikmin 4 last month, but haven't actually started playing it yet, so that will probably be the primary thing that I try to play.

Finally! Two other Rhapsody games are getting released in west! I've been waiting for this moment since DS release of the original game. I absolutely loved it, such sweet little JRPG. Pumped about Marl Kingdom Chronicles too.

My buy list:
Rhapsody Marl Kingdom Chronicles
Akiba's Trip Directors Cut
Samba de Amigo Party Central (I hope this still slaps just with buttons like the Wii game)
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
Marble it Up! Ultra
Giga Bash!
WrestleQuest
Stray Gods
Vampire Survivors

Need to see some reviews first:
Sea of Stars (not a big fan of indie "retro jrpg" genre)
Die After Sunset

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk looks and sounds awesome!

This trailer got me pretty hyped, but then I saw that it costs $39.99. So that brought me back to reality pretty quick lol!

Brotato already loaded and ready to go, the other big one for me is Sea of Stars. Actually a couple PS5 games I want this month for once too so oddly, August might be my busiest month for new releases.

Samba de Amigo for sure! Had the original (and the Maracas controller) on Dreamcast as well as the Wii version, so I'm excited for a new entry. I'm interested in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk too, but I'll wait to see how it reviews first.

August for me is definitely Baldur’s Gate 3 and Armored Core 6. Both games I’m not even sure I’ll get to play soon, but I absolutely want to support both projects by buying them full price day one.

Err, so yeah, no new buys on Switch for me. I still have Pikmin 4 and A Space for the Unbound waiting in the wings anyway.

Vampire Survivors is my for sure get

I want to see how Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and Samba de Amigo perform first. I'm very interested in Wrestlequest. but that might just go to my wishlist for now.

Sea of Stars is on gamepass so I'll play it there even if I don't really want to. This is one of the busier months of the year for me.

Vampire Survivors is now up on the UK eshop to pre-order along with the DLC, each have a launch discount of 10% so the main game is £3.59 with the DLC being £1.43 each. Pre-ordered all 3, roll on 17th!

There’s no way I’m buying Vampire Survivors on Switch. Slay the Spire and Into the Breach already have me by the balls, and those are just the roguelike tinesinks. There’s too much stuff to play!

Yeah Vampire Survivors on Switch would be absolutely lethal to any other games I intend to play.

But not gonna lie, I might just buy it anyway.. :p

I've already had to delete Vampire Survivors from my phone because I was wasting too much time on it, I really don't need to do the same mistake again on Switch

Oh hey, We love Katamari reroll is already on sale(on Xbox) so it should be on sale on switch soon. Now whether 35% off is enough or to wait for 50%….

Digital version of Overcooked: All You Can Eat is $5 at Best Buy, Gamestop, Amazon, and Target. This is the version that includes both OC 1 + 2 and all the DLC remastered in 2's engine.

I had thought it was a price error, but maybe it's not with all of the retailers quickly adjusting to the same price.

You will also get the full amount of Gold coins, so basically $2 back.

Thanks for the info, this is available in Canada as well (usually we don’t have that many of these types of crazy deals). At this price I guess it’s a steal, had to jump on it even though I’m not that big on party games, at least it’s more multiplayer games on my Switch when I get to play locally with other people

The full amount of Gold Coins is also nice, there’s a pretty big eshop sale right now focused on multiplayer game but these games are suprisingly not on sale

I’m struggling to find Vigil: The Longest Night on the EU eshop. Does anyone know if it’s been delisted or why?

Nintendo is too greedy to even give Animal Crossing the obligatory 33% sale. Since last year, there sales in EU- Shop are getting worse and worse. It really isn't a good look what they are doing.

Deliste because they had issues with the publisher, they explained it over Facebook. It is still available in the US and mexican eshop if you really want to get it, but nobody know for how long

Ah, lovely, thanks for letting me know!

If only they took more of an issue with PixArts and Midnight Works and other shovelware specialists.
Not gonna lie, it kinda has become a hobby of mine to check what they add every new release, lik "uhhh, now its Omega version, let's see what they added.... oh new font, those devilish bastards"

Oh hey Dawn of the monsters is half off for the new dlc release… I think I’ll resist tho, too many beatemups in the backlog

Big sale started today on the UK Eshop, picked up Bleak Sword DX, Loop Hero and the DLC for Cult of the Lamb.

The new Turtles: Shredders Revenge DLC is also 10% off so nabbed that as well.

13 Sentinels is currently on sale (US eShop) for $17.99. Probably going to pick it up.

Yeah damn, me too. I was just looking at this yesterday after the chatter about it selling 1M copies, figured I'd grab it next time it was on sale. Wasn't expecting it so fast, or such a big drop!

I've been preparing the September thread and wow, it's a really big month. Lots of great stuff both big and small.

Sooooo I have enough gold coins to pick up either Cult of the Lamb herectic edition or TMNT no DLC (sadlly not enough for 13 Sentinels). Anyone could chime in to help my decision (or make it harder suggesting other games in the same price range)?

Cult of the Lamb is a Diablo-like/rogue-like with base building elements. Combat is better and smoother than many other indie roguelikes I've played. Would something like that be in your liking. I enjoyed it a lot.

TMNT DLC is not huge, but it gives you the survival/endless mode that allows you to play it four hours and hours. If you're addicted to the gameplay, this is a must buy.

Man, I'm currently on the fence on whether to pick up the Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection now that it's on sale or wait for Baten Kaitos next week.
