If he is guessing or speculating he can be wrong, but he is almost 100% if not 100% when he hears from his trusted sources. He’s never been told WW and TP were going to be in a specific direct like he has been told this timeJeff Grubb's been riding this WW/TP on Switch forever and he's been wrong about it before. You'd think after years of false Nintendo rumors fans should just believe it when they see it.
Yeah BotW 2 was pure speculation. It’s sad that some many gaming sites are running with the “Zelda blowout” thing. Grubb was told TP and WW in this direct, he is just guessing they would probably show BOTW2 as well
They would probably sell it for the equivalent of that in Japan, tbh.I'd pay $120 for an Odin Sphere Leifthrasir port right now.
C'mon Atlus. You fucking cowards.
Are you expecting a 16 year old GameCube game to get patched orDaily reminder that Twilight Princess has a massive pothole that remains unaddressed to this day and everyone but me continuously ignores it.
Nah I more meant like, addressed in an interview or Hyrule Historia or something like that. Are you expecting a 16 year old GameCube game to get patched or
thank Hylia they never made that Zelda Kart game
I don‘t see them revealing two new Zelda games and not even mention BOTW2. Even when it only is 'we‘ll have a trailer/dedicated Direct at a later date' type of thing.Yeah BotW 2 was pure speculation.
Lol my end of workday brain attempt at a joke, I gotchaNah I more meant like, addressed in an interview or Hyrule Historia or something like that.

Daily reminder that in The Wind Waker, Ganondorf doesn't want to kill Link & Zelda, despite beating the living shit out of Link before he gets his part of the Triforce and I still wonder what could've happened if he succeeded to restore the old Hyrule. What would've became of Zelda and Link ?Daily reminder that Twilight Princess has a massive pothole that remains unaddressed to this day and everyone but me continuously ignores it.
Nope, on the podcast he mentions to wait and see if its announced next week.however nate to confirm that we will have tp and ww this year?
the Mushroom Kingdom's Department of Transportation is better funded than Hyrule's
What if instead of Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD we're getting 2 mash-up games, Twilight Waker and Wind Princess, that mix up the artstyles so that now Twilight Princess is cel shaded and Wind Waker has the "adult" art-style.

The Legend of Zelda: Wind BreakerI call my girlfriend the wind princess because... You know... she's able to produce a lot of that
I can already see the plot.
A mention and no trailer once again would be quite something.I don‘t see them revealing two new Zelda games and not even mention BOTW2. Even when it only is 'we‘ll have a trailer/dedicated Direct at a later date' type of thing.
If no BOTW2 Trailer this year I don‘t see that game releasing in the first half of next year.
Call Domino's to fix itDaily reminder that Twilight Princess has a massive pothole that remains unaddressed to this day and everyone but me continuously ignores it.
It's gonna be The Breath of the Wild, trust me.The Legend of Zelda: New Breath of The Wild
No F-Zero, RIP MissingNo.SWITCHUM’S NINTENDO DIRECT PREDICTIONS
Direct will air September 14, with an announcement the morning prior.
Spotlight #1: The Direct opens with a trailer for Metroid Prime HD - a glorious look into a gorgeous recreation of the original Metroid Prime. After the trailer ends, Takahashi says that he will be your guide for this Nintendo Direct, and reiterates that you just saw Metroid Prime HD. He assures you that MP4 development is proceeding smoothly, and that more details will be shared on the title in 2023.
Headlines #1: This set of headlines includes several third-party games, including an overview trailer for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. Also includes a look at the Golf update for Nintendo Switch Sports.
Spotlight #2: Tomodachi World trailer. A successor to the 3DS’ Tomodachi Life, this game expands upon its predecessor in many meaningful ways, with more ways to customize Miis (like Miitopia) and more interactions between Miis. Same-sex relationships are finally possible in the world of Tomodachi, and this can be seen in the trailer. Takahashi asks what you thought of that, and leads into more headlines.
Headlines #2: More third-party games. Also, a trailer for the Mariokart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 3. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes DLC is revealed as well.
Spotlight #3: GB/GBA added to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Shows some games coming to the service, with only around 10 available at launch. A future lineup is revealed, with more updates promised for the near future.
Spotlight #4: We are led into a new spotlight right away, with the lights going dark. Here’s a “surprise” announcement: Mario + Luigi: Over the Moon! Nintendo has revived the so-called “defunct” Mario + Luigi series for a sixth original adventure on Nintendo Switch! This adventure will take the heroic pair to the far reaches of the Mushroom Galaxy.
Headlines: Third party games! Kid Icarus Uprising is shown off here, leaving Famiboards to wonder why it did not get a Spotlight of its own.
Spotlight #5: Eiji Aonuma appears with a Zelda segment. First, take a look at The Legend of Zelda: Destiny Duology, which contains the Wii U versions of Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD on one cartridge! These will be releasing in November 2022. Aonuma also takes the time to share that he is very excited for people to try out certain Zelda titles for the first time with the addition of GB/GBA in Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Finally, he thanks us for our patience for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. He shares a short trailer with us, which gives 30 seconds of new footage and a name: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Eternity. After the trailer is shown, Aonuma reappears and asks what you thought. As a final announcement, please be sure to tune into an upcoming Direct dedicated to Echoes of Eternity, planned for October 2022.
Back to Takahashi, who thanks us for tuning in and reassured us that there are more games in development than what they’ve shared today.
Nintendo logo on screen, Direct is over!
I could see them doing once again a teaser type trailer thing this time with the date and/or name reveal and announcing a Zelda direct for in the coming weeks.A mention and no trailer once again would be quite something.
My unpopular Nintendo opinion is exactly this, except switch "Wind Waker" and "Twilight Princess"Probably my most unpopular Nintendo opinion is that I don't like Twilight Princess very much and if it does come in a bundle, I will get the bundle just for Wind Waker and ignore Twilight Princess altogether.
I'd think both price points were scams lol. I'd still buy WW and TP HD, but I wouldn't be thrilled by the cost. No, he did not. Here's what he said (emphasis mine):
"It's going to be a fun day on the internet if Nintendo releases Zelda: Wind Wake HD and Twilight Princess HD as standalone $60 releases for Switch with no meaningful enhancements over the Wii U versions & people call it fair; yet the same call TLOU Part 1 a rip-off at $70."
Tbf, you're technically comparing two of the biggest titans to ever exist in gaming with a mini-monster.Nintendo can be really weird on releasing schedules of their biggest franchises - the biggest examples being Mario and Pokémon - so I don't see why they couldn't be just that weird with Zelda too.
Okay, what about Fire Emblem? Apparently we're getting three games in two years or less, and FE is a lot less popular than Zelda.Tbf, you're technically comparing two of the biggest titans to ever exist in gaming with a mini-monster.
Breath of the Wild sold more than any Pokémon game on the Switch tho.Tbf, you're technically comparing two of the biggest titans to ever exist in gaming with a mini-monster.
Paging @Raccoon, I think this is what the kids call checks notes "based"?I hope they sell WWHD and TPHD separately and as a bundle (price doesn’t matter) so I can feel good about skipping three Nintendo SKUs.
FE is based, that's whyOkay, what about Fire Emblem? Apparently we're getting three games in two years or less, and FE is a lot less popular than Zelda.
The Legend of Zelda: The Ganondorf's Revenge Collection.Let's speculate what the name of the WWHD+TPHD double pack is going to be because: "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD + The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" is too long to be on a Nintendo Switch box spine, just slightly longer than Cadence of Hyrule's full name
Personally thinking Nintendo have other options for Zelda going forward if they're happy to bring these games out now. Hyrule Warriors 3, new 2D Zelda, another remake (Oracles being the prime candidate), further remasters (still got Ocarina and Majora's Mask to HDify), or new spin offs.I really just don't get what would even be the strategic play trying to squeeze multiple Zelda ports into an already packed release schedule when the next new 3D Zelda is so close. WW HD and TP HD would make a lot more sense as 2024 and 2025 releases.
Based in a dumpster maybeFE is based, that's why
