The way Grubb has been handling this Queen's rumour or speculation show me that he's not that trustable. He has sources, sure, but he's not like Nate, who's very cautious about what to share or what not. To me, Grubb's behaviour has been really stupid since yesterday.

I primarily think it's tasty :p . When I'm rested tasty coffee makes me go vroom a little harder. When I'm tired it makes me shaky and feel cold so I drink tasty decaf instead.

Anyways, what did it solve for you if I may ask?

if you are American the benefits must've been tremendous because the American coffee I've had tasted like doodoo.

As an American I can assure you you can find good coffee pretty easily if you know what to look for. You may have to pay through the nose though.

It helped me with chronic cluster headaches and constipation.
 
How can anyone conclude that the Queen's death is delaying an event that was never officially announced? What if the original date was going to be late September anyway? I think the whole "Queen delaying the Direct" narrative is strange because there was never an official announcement. Unless someone from Nintendo or it's partners reveals in hindsight that this was indeed what happened, I am indifferent about the whole situation.

Any chance we could finally see that 1-2 Switch sequel in the direct? I feel like everyone’s forgot about it after the remaster rumors.
 
So, it's friday, we probably will have a Nintendo Direct in 4 days and no rumours about it be partner or anything like this. Ok, I think that I can start the hype!

Right, that makes sense. Coffee has risen in price quite a bit lately as well, but I don't mind paying more for decent food. Don't have expensive hobbies otherwise.

I'm feeling exausted and frustated for waiting for a direct since E3 was canceled. Xenoblade and Splatoon aren't my kind of games, and this just make the waiting more weird.
 
I´m bored so here are my Direct predictions

What we know about :

- Obviously , The sequel to The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild
I am expecting a new Trailer that shows the games defining gimmick, the reason the title hasn´t been revealed yet
I am honestly expecting another delay.We will get a release date though for later 2023.

- Metroid Prime 4
The game will probably get a mention , something like "development is doing well please stay tuned"
No trailer

- Mario Strikers Battle Legaue Update
Another Update with new Characters,Stages and Gear

- Nintendo Switch Sports Update
Golf will finally be added.

- Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp
I have no idea if we will see this game again anytime soon

- Front Mission 1st Remake
Probably got delayed due to the same situation as Advance Wars

- Super Mario Movie
We maybe get our first trailer or at least character renders


So now to the spicy part, my wishful thinking :

- Metroid Prime HD
Trailer and release date to hold us over until Prime 4 ,December 2022

I don’t think that’s fair at all. Just because someone has sources and inside info doesn’t mean they aren’t allowed to speculate. He’s not responsible for people misunderstanding his guesses/speculation vs actual info. I’m a fan if Grubb and have listened to his podcasts for years, I will say he’s like 100% on inside info, 0% on his guesses/speculation. He thinks the direct will be delayed, it won’t, not a big deal

Yesterday ended up being a pretty rough birthday for me, as my mom ended up having an infection of the mastoid bone and had to quickly go to the ER to have antibiotics administered directly instead of waiting for a prescription, in addition to discovering that she has diabetes after they did bloodwork. Her doctor said that specific infection can be very serious if not treated promptly.

She was admitted overnight last night and is also staying tonight as we wait for updates, so definitely my worst birthday. Hoping for Nintendo to stay the course with the direct so I have a distraction next week.

I'm guessing it's different for everyone, but one of the main ingredients in Excedrin which is a migraine pain relief medicine is caffeine. For whatever reason that never worked for me (I think it took too long to take effect) but coffee in the morning every day has kept my cluster headaches suppressed for close to 3 years now I think.

Those things are absolutely debilitating, you feel like someone is sticking a hot poker directly into your eye. I'm never skipping coffee again.
 
Keeping Nintendo UK on radio silence while the rest keeps their social media presence up would make the most sense.

I managed to "Point on image of meal in restaurants" my food-way through Toyko, i can manage a japanese only Direct as long as it's not sound only.

We had that before and it gave us the new 3DS and Shulk in Smash.

That's rough. Hoping for a speedy recovery for her and that everything turns out better.
 
If it ends up delayed, they'd likely have to delay more than a week. The following week is when many of the actual events will happen, including the Queen's funeral and possibly the coronation. Delaying that long may really fuck with marketing plans. It still makes more sense to me to do it next week.

I mean if the whole point of the direct is that things are gonna be at TGS, then they’ll have to drop the trailers anyway?

When the direct was delayed due to the Japanese earthquake in 2018, it still ended up falling before TGS, no?
