Cross-posting, but just started Banjo and wondering how do I throw the eggs to the big Ape on the tree ?

1st time playing the game and loving the vibe so far.
 
Was out cuz of work yesterday. Just got caught up on the Mario Musou stuff.

They gonna eff around and get me to import my only other Treasure Box besides Zelda Musou's, huh? I really, REALLY hope it's true.

1) Howl noiselessly into the void
2) Finish the book I've been reading (Balkan Trilogy, Olivia Manning)
3) Start Psychonauts 2
4) Pick up Dungeon Encounters again so I'm not put off from continuing by my first party wipeout on the 20th floor
5) Begin preparations for moving to the US in the spring

Crouch with Z(left trigger) and press the Up c-button (press up on the right analog stick). You'll have to hit him 3 times. You'll know the hit counted if he gets angry and tosses an orange at you. You'll know he's defeated when he gives you a jiggy.

Sort out and clean my room so that I can better enjoy my week off work starting Monday
Maybe watch Encanto if I can get momentarily get over my chronic fear of people hearing me exist as a person who likes things
Progress some more in Horizon Zero Dawn, a game I'm really getting into in the third attempt

You have to first give the monkey an orange. Then you can go up to the ledge for a clear shot.

Only two, hopefully. It's a winter birthday during COVID so we can't really do much of a party with friends/classmates so instead we're celebrating it twice to make up for it, once with some other family members and once just us.

Semi-related as you are an animator, any chance you've ever watched Octonauts?

Pretty sure that wouldn't be feasible, as the GB games pre-date the modern Pokémon stat structure, (DVs and Stat EXP versus IVs and EVs), and there's no way to emulate that without faking it in a manner that would make newer Pokémon weaker than older ones. Game Freak hasn't done backward transfers since Gen 1/2 because of their complexity. You'd also have to come up with a new system for importing mons into Stadium. If Stadium is coming to NSO, it's probably coming alongside GB NSO with Transfer Pak support, as it's the more simple method of making these games playable.

I'm meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow, continuing my rewatch binge of the Batman movies before March, beating Halo Infinite's campaign this weekend and trying out the new Attrition mode in multiplayer, and I'll start reading Batman: Year One as well. Might also start Banjo or Paper Mario or Star Fox on NSO if I have the time. Very lowkey weekend, but I need to relax after this crazy week at work.

Sorry to be clear, I meant a new Pokémon stadium that could use Pokemon from the new games. Not a Pokemon Stadium on NSO.
 
What was this week’s news that was supposed to be bigger than the Activision purchase? I assume it’s the PS5/XSX Peppa Pig free upgrade but can’t be certain.

So, does anyone know how the Hori Joycon controllers are compared to Nintendo's own? I'm planning on buying some new joycons and wondered if they also suffer the same drift issue.

After hitting the wall with KH, I decided to shelve it for a while, and pulled up Xenoblade Chronicles X. This is one hell of a game! Currently farming for credits to save up for a Lailah level 50 Skell. Been playing for 80 hours in total and every hour has felt worthwhile. <3
 
I don't want to start The Discourse, but I'm finally replaying Xenoblade 2 on NG+. Just at the end of Chapter 8 and I do love this game, I was waiting for a Switch Pro to play it again but the OLED will have to do for now.

This cast of characters is amazing and my dream for Xenoblade 3 is the cast of 1 and 2 joined up together. I forgot how my opinion completely turns around on Rex as the story goes on. Hopefully we'll hear something this year!

I think Emily has mentioned hearing about Pokemon Stadium on NSO, but wasn't sure if it was going to happen. They would have to figure out how it would even work, unless they're planning to make the GBC Pokemon games available on the Switch.

PlayAsia just woke up all of a sudden. I went from getting an email from them every few months to getting at least one a day, sometimes two. 😳

Trying to finish up my winter hand painting projects. Wrapping up some shows on Crunchyroll before my free trial is up Sunday, tho one I need a breather from so it probably won’t happen
