It’s most certainly fake, but the title for that professor layton game is actually legit. the game is stylized to be “Professor Layton and The New World of steam” with the word steam being lowercase

Digital-only releases still receive press kits, so that doesn't really matter.
He didn't know about the Princess Peach game and Luigi's Mansion 2 remaster, and "coincidentally" those happen to be two announcements that didn't receive any advertising materials, trailers or even have press releases, if he had seen the Direct he would've leaked them.

He leaked everything else, and the Peach game/ Luigi’s mansion 2 remaster feel like weird games to hide intentionally. I mean it’s possible he knew about those games, but I personally doubt it

Judging it today, personally, might be too harsh. Maybe it’s just me.

But I feel games trailers have made a dramatic improvement in the recent decade. I’ve looked at old game trailers and feel there’s more unimpressive ones then great ones. Nowadays I feel Nintendo just is in another level when it comes to a ton of their trailers.

How did they make a trailer so bad? It's literally zero style or pace, just main theme and let's show the few things we added. And this was 2012, a year later they got so much better at making trailer it's kind of crazy.
Also I love how while nsmbU shows the main new power up as the first thing of the trailer since it's pretty much the biggest new feature of the game, super mario bros wonder shows the main new power up at the end as a cherry on top, since the game itself is the big change for the series.

I was a bit more excited for the June direct, because I really believed in Metroid Prime 4 showing up there. As we saw, it didn't work out that way. I also believe it will show up at this one, but I recognize that there's no way to know for sure. June tested my faith, but I'm happy to say that I now trust the process more than ever.

Whatever the outcome of this direct may be, I will continue to trust the process. Metroid Prime 4 will be ours one day.

It's impossible for The Process to fail. Metroid Prime 4 is inevitable. That's why I say it's illogical and absurd not to #TTP.

blastball is still the weirdest thing ever. i remember they released a demo of the game which was just blastball, and then once the game came out they updated the demo to not play anymore. i still have it on my 3ds, unupdated, and i still play blastball like once a year to marvel at what the fuck nintendo was smoking.

The series loves the last survivor trope, between Samus, the baby, the animals from Zebes, Quiet Robe and Raven Beak being the last members of their respective tribes, etc. We're also at the point in the timeline where the events of Metroid 2 should be taking place pretty soon.

My theory for a while has been whatever sylux does with the metroid(s) leads to the GF getting rid of them on SR-388 in 2
