actually is Peach have magical dress, a la Salor Moon, that each dress give her a ability, kinda like the emotion mrchanic was in Super Princess Peach, blue dress give her water abilityPeach game made by Team Ninja?!
Get hype for a stylish princess j-action game...with plenty of "bounce"!
And I ain't talking about Mario hops.
God I love those shorts! The one with the paralysing Ratkid & Father and with the Raccoon father & child is one of my favs
This is obviously not everything in the direct... (copium)This is why I’m skeptical of his leaks so far. You don’t do a full direct like this if this is all you’re showing
I heard it was a year but i could be wrong, game was ready by spring 2022 I thinkHow long did they sit on TOTK i wonder?
ayy yeah I'm a big fan tooGod I love those shorts! The one with the paralysing Ratkid & Father and with the Raccoon father & child is one of my favs
He said in his Discord that MP4 "is definitely ready to be shown off" but doesn't know if it's going to be in the Direct
Didn't they say somewhere that it was done by 2022 but they delayed it that year so they could iron out the bugs? So idk if that's necessarily sitting on totkI heard it was a year but i could be wrong, game was ready by spring 2022 I think

They didn't. That patch that came out after review copies were out and before the game came out kinda proves they've worked on the game until the very last minute and it absolutely wouldn't be released any earlier than May 12th even if they wanted to. Game went gold late March 2023.How long did they sit on TOTK i wonder?
one year polishing the game, the game was basically done in 2022, delayed to polish the gameHow long did they sit on TOTK i wonder?
Mother 3 is never coming to the west unless copyright laws in the US change drasticallyI don't care for Mother/Earthbound at all, but I would pop off like crazy and be excited for fans if/when Mother 3 gets an official localization. It's about appreciating gaming both historically and as an art form.
you wish, we will have switch directs until late 2024!The Process wants us to enjoy this last Switch only focused Direct, end of an Era
yeah, being "content complete" is so different from being "sat on"Aonuma said TotK had gone gold less than two months before the game released: https://www.gamesradar.com/development-on-the-legend-of-zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom-is-now-complete/
So no, it wasn't really "sat on", much less since 2022 lol. I mean, are you guys forgetting that the game was literally slated for 2022 initially before getting delayed?
Just like every series as we move into ever-higher definitions? These are not arbitrary timelines, because they’re significantly longer than the typical development time for these types of games
Iirc wasn’t it that they spent one year of polishing and debugging? I forgot where I read that.Aonuma said TotK had gone gold less than two months before the game released: https://www.gamesradar.com/development-on-the-legend-of-zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom-is-now-complete/

Thanks! Did I hallucinate the Smash tease?
- Princess Peach Showtime
- F ZERO something; probably F ZERO 99, unclear if there's anything else
- Mario vs DK something
- Another Code remakes
I’ll do that for the first Direct of 2024 for TTYDI’m going to speak to my Magic 8-ball and ask it if Prime 4 will be in the direct.
Yeah that was the case. They spent the entire delay polishing the game and fixing bugs. They didn't "sit on it" like they do with some other games like Fire Emblem, they were working on it until a month or 2 before release.Iirc wasn’t it that they spent one year of polishing and debugging? I forgot where I read that.
Yeah, I think you're right (although I can't find where this was said atm), but if it were "sat on", that would imply it was completely finished i.e. done with the polishing phase of development.Iirc wasn’t it that they spent one year of polishing and debugging? I forgot where I read that.
I asked an online Magic 8 Ball "Will Metroid Prime 4 be shown at the September 2023 Nintendo Direct?"I’m going to speak to my Magic 8-ball and ask it if Prime 4 will be in the direct.
I have consulted with my clairvoyant and she said yes.I’m going to speak to my Magic 8-ball and ask it if Prime 4 will be in the direct.

Yours is a fake Magic 8-ball
I doubt Mario vs DK would be announced this early if it's a Q1 2024 game. It's most likely an e-shop title. This year's Nintendo lineup is complete.
So Another Code, Peach, and vsDK will very likely be released between January and March next year.
If MP4 is added to that, it will be a pretty solid lineup for Q1.
I have Outlook on my computer, can confirm it's not so good

That doesn’t explain these wait times. Odyssey came out 4 years after 3D world. Tropical freeze came out 4 years after DK Country ReturnsJust like every series as we move into ever-higher definitions?
Yup, and I get the feeling that a lot of these games that Nintendo is supposedly "sitting on" are content complete, but haven't actually gone gold.yeah, being "content complete" is so different from being "sat on"
Games can be rebooted, retooled much later in development cycles than people would expect. Sometimes other projects are made first, only to get cancelled. There's a lot of stuff that can explain the wait times between these things. That doesn’t explain these wait times. Odyssey came out 4 years after 3D world. Tropical freeze came out 4 years after DK Country Returns
Heck, even Elden Ring only took 5 years to make
Nintendo developing games is not comparable to most other studios. They don't have a team for each series, they switch it up often. Sometimes a series simply doesn't have any developers on it at Nintendo. The people who make 3D Mario games have been doing other stuff and Retro Studios was working on an unannounced project which got canned in favor of a Prime 1 remaster and Prime 4.That doesn’t explain these wait times. in fairness, we've seen it happen a few times to varying extents. Pikmin 3 Deluxe was ready in spring 2020 iirc, and I think nsmbud was done in summer of 2018Yup, and I get the feeling that a lot of these games that Nintendo is supposedly "sitting on" are content complete, but haven't actually gone gold.
But hey, the narrative has already been built and Nintendo apparently has dozens of games ready to release but decide not to for some reason...
