I believe Jeff said he wasn’t 100% sure on when the Zelda ports would release. Mike asked him and he estimated early 2023 could be good because he still doesn’t absolutely believe that BOTW2 is coming in Spring next year.

Again, I believe it was speculation on their release timing, not whether or not they exist.

It would be a pretty aggressive release schedule if you ended up with Switch exclusive software being something like:

September 9th - Splatoon 3
October 8th - Zelda: Wind Waker & Twilight Princess HD
October 20th - Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope
October 28th - Bayonetta 3
November 2nd - Harvestella
November 11th - Metroid Prime HD
November 18th - Pokemon Scarlet & Pokemon Violet
December 9th - Dragon Quest Treasures

Oh those are smaller than I thought. They should easily fit on one then. I am curious if they'd even do that though. They are probably banking on us buying them separately and at full price in the millions regardless.

Some Switch games are actually smaller than their Wii U versions too. I think Bayonetta, Captain Toad, DKC. Probably NSMBU but they also removed videos in favor of streaming, so it’s not a fair comparison.

At best there'll be a limited run, slightly discounted bundle that comes in a special sleeve; or a limited run bundle with a higher price point, an art book, and CD. Or perhaps a discount on the eShop for one if you buy the other.

Physical and digital Dual Pack for $69 and the option to buy both separately digitally for $39, each is my guess.

Idk how I'm going to fit all these games in. I'm 20 hours into Xenoblade 3, I'm picking up Splatoon 3, I bought Bayonetta 1 and 2 to play them before Bayonetta 3, and I'll buy Prime HD. I'll skip Pokemon and Rabbids until the latter is discounted, but even then, I'm buying the Zelda ports and will play LttP, OoT, MM, WW, and TP all before BOTW 2 comes out. I can't even possibly think about any games for Xbox lol

Those were direct ports sold for a limited time. These are remasters previously sold at 60 each around forever.

RE: The ports. I'm not sure. They could've sold Galaxy HD and Sunshine HD separately, yet they made a collection. I wonder if the same approach would apply to Zelda remasters. On the other hand, full-price, separate releases is a bit of extra $ on the table.
