Hey you're right, but with what little support and attention Nintendo gives to the series, I'll take what I can get

When has Nintendo closed a studio? All they would do is reorganize it as a Splatoon support studio week 2
I dunno if they killed Skipped, but considering their website is dead and they've not made a game in like a decade Nintendo certainly didn't save them.

So are the chances good for a September General? I think its about time for some major announcements, and for BOTW2. News then and then release 6-8 months later makes sense.

This thread is now the best Batman quotes, thanks to @Raccoon

Takahashi talking to EPD 4 that they have best EPD output: I never said thank you.

Kawamoto: And you'll never have to.

We have to chase them.

They didn't do anything wrong.

EPD Tokyo is a hero that Nintendo deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we'll hunt them, because they can take it. Because they aren't our hero. They're a silent guardian, a watchful protector... a EPD Tokyo.

Nintendo has little incentive to "save" external studios like Alpha Dream or Skip when they can just hire the people that worked there instead. It hardly seems worthwhile to absorb a dying studio's debt just to keep a name that only hardcore fans care about.

This reminds me of people asking Nintendo to save Level-5 when Nintendo right now probably only sees L-5 as a poaching factory lol

I think it depends on the quality of games they're making. Inevitably you wont be able to hire the whole studio, so if you want to keep making the games then buying them makes sense. But in Alphadream's case they weren't really making good games so there was no reason to bother.

Hi everyone. I'm Raccoon, and this is a public service announcement.

Kids, there's nothing kooky about war crimes. They aren't zany, wacky, or goofy either. Well over a hundred thousand lives were lost in the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and those lives aren't something to joke about.

So, the next time you want to express your frustration with a corporation on the other side of the world, instead of reaching for the nuclear bomb, start with something smaller, more cartoonish, and less of an affront to humanity. Thanks.
I am sorry about this, I really am. I didn’t really think of the effects the joke would cause. In fact, I wasn’t really thinking at all. Again, I apologize.

Some sort of Direct - general, Mini, Partner Showcase - is highly likely, given Nintendo usually do their September Direct 7 or 8 days before the Tokyo Game Show starts. TGS is in the second full week of September this year, so a Direct the week that Splatoon 3 releases is completely plausible. Personally, given Nintendo will have by then gone 7 months without any game announcements (bar an eShop only Kirby game), I think a general Direct is fairly likely in September.

I dont see a Partner again lol. General for early September hopefully, almost a month away now. We can do it.

Nintendo could just leave the gaming business and become a music producer and the quality of their output would probably skyrocket, not gonna lie.

Have you gone to a mall or shopping center lately? EVERYONE is talking about it.
My mind immediately went to "Omigod You Guys" from Legally Blonde The Musical

I think I'm going to stop talking about Splatoon on the site because the Splatoon fans gatekeep and everyone else are in their thirties and don't like anything new
I'm staring 40 in the face and I fuckin love Splatoon 👴
