I would guess, but this releases on 4th. The day when Splat3Direct would take place. But since Pokemon preorders starts on that day I just think that Nintendo don't care.
 
Next week will have Pokémon news, that much is 100% a lock, and there is also Nintendo's financials.

They could announce something else of course, but we have those two things inked in.

The initial leak was on Twitter, the further confirmation / clarification was from a member people like here. That bumped it up from 5/8 right to 7/8 right.

I am literally not up to date when it comes to this twitter leak. Thats why I said "leaker". I don't know the guy. Nothing more to it. As far as I know it could have been another lucky guess. So sorry for not immediately knowing why this Twitter user is reputable all of a sudden.
 
Hey anyone ever get that feeling that, even if a user here doesn’t post their age explicitly, you know that you can safely guess that they cannot possibly be older than like, 15

anyway I’m excited for new Mario kart tracks tbh. The ice cream one looks like it could have maybe been a Luncheon Kingdom track with that colour scheme
 
I'm all in favour of more food based tracks, but could we have some savoury racing and not just sweet racing?

Maybe the reason why Sky-High Sundae looks better and has anti-gravity is that it was designed with 8Deluxe in mind while later ported to Tour. But it just seems like they delayed the Tour release so this course would be used as "brand new", at least for now. But I appreciate the anti-gravity effort.
 
Honestly if GBA RR does show up in one of the later booster pass dlc, I'm willing to give the leaker the benefit of the doubt that from the time they got their info to the time the tracks were finalized the gba track order got shuffled. I also acknowledge that between Tour tracks, Tour datamined tracks, and the datamined series of where booster pass tracks are coming from, being able to get lucky and guess most of them is actually far more likely then it would otherwise be with just one or the other.0

The "PIZZA" part of this post is 100% a low budget iterative sequel to "FULL ENGLISH BREAKFASTLAND".

Kids, there's nothing kooky about war crimes. They aren't zany, wacky, or goofy either. Well over a hundred thousand lives were lost in the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and those lives aren't something to joke about.

I just don't get why datamining, arguably the purest form of leaking there is, would make a leak not a leak and a leaker not a leaker

If the content isn’t necessarily “out of line” but you certainly don’t want to see this user post anymore, the ignore button also works incredibly well.

You know what...I'm with you! It was refreshing on the Kirby's Dream Buffet seeing them bouncing off eggs, and in Mario Odyssey seeing that chef-y world! I want to race around a giant turkey dinner!

Really hope that Sky-high Sundae course is worth the extra dev time.

I mean that would be idiotic, they finally have a successful franchise that's growing at a great pace, the plan now should be to port xeno x and make another xenoblade after the dlc. It needs to follow the same trajectory of fire emblem untill it grows into a huge jrpg series.

They have all hands on deck on the 1-2 Switch sequel. Thats also the reason why BotW 2 was delayed.
 
I don't care what anyone here says. Splatoon 3 Direct announcement on August 1st and Direct on August 3rd. Simple. Wave 2 is releasing on 4th so it's fine.

As much as I'd like to see what else Monolith Soft can do, I'd never expect that to come at the expense of Xenoblade. Nintendo don't spend a decade growing a series to drop it; at least not when it has a fixed developer...
 
Not gonna lie.

After Skyward Sword I wished the Zelda team would go grander, bigger, more ambitious.

I hope Monolith goes in the exact opposite direction some time in the future. I really wanna know what they can do when its a smaller, more focussed and perhaps more linear game.

They did an interview with switch force and dropped a code in the interview. Someone cracked the code with you got boost power which Sylux confirmed in a tweet reply that it’s f zero related but to manage expectations

No. Datamining was done back when Wave 1 released and there has been no new patch to datamine since then. We got two major things from it, a list of course platform prefixes for every cup (like say for Turnip Cup Tour, SNES, N64, DS) which Wave 2’s courses now match and secondly we got a datamined banner image that showed screenshots of some of the courses. We saw the new Sundae course for example first from this banner.

In other words the Twitter leaker (who got 5/8 right) actually had to know something for it to match as well as it did (a sixth one they pegged as Mario Circuit, but it was actually Mario Circuit 3). A user here (see the Mario Kart 8 thread) confirmed 7/8 tracks correctly. When people say they trust the leak here, we trust the person who confirmed it. No way at all they guessed it.

Geez, just crazy big! Getting ready to get lost, haha! And reading through it a bit, this little bit I really liked:

Actually pretty excited by this bunch of tracks. The only shame is that I will be on a hiking trip starting the 4th so I won't be able to try them out until the following week lol

Ahh right, the numbers game. Thought it was something new and got excited haha. Thank you for clearing that up though 😋
 
The rumours about F-Zero have somewhat eluded me so I only have a tenuous grasp on them. I also don't know how credible SylusHunter (or however they spell their name) is. But I think they're teasing an F-Zero game that will come out soon-ish and the reason why we should manage our expecations is because it's "only" a remake of F-Zero X with the Expansion Kit stuff. I say this mainly because:
  1. I want it to happen
  2. I want to say that I was right on the off-chance that it happens
