Most games were made to run on both units so they couldn’t really take full advantage of this, but if I remember correctly the CPU in the New models was like 4 times more powerful than the base model or something like that.
 
Tomorrow morning will be the 1st moment of truth, followed by Wednesday as the 2nd. If nothing happens before then, hope is lost for anything outside of some kind of one off trailer for something that isn't pokemon

I think Wednesday is the big day, with Thursday as a back-up. Getting something on Tuesday (tomorrow) would be like getting to open a Christmas present on Christmas Eve.

Powerful enough to run a port of Xenoblade that an old 3DS can't run acceptably.

$500 USD seems reasonable with that split. Feels very similar to how the DS/3DS models were bucketed. I think the existence of the OLED puts a floor on the price as they're going to want to a large enough gap so that the OLED model doesn't feel redundant. And if they can swing it, I could see the OLED taking the $300 price tag held by the standard model once the inventory is cleared out.

That's probably more on whatever browser engine they're using internally as the NSO app also runs like poo (likely an issue with the JS engine). Surprisingly the News app runs fine but it's not that hard to build something that's basically an RSS feed reader.

Pokemon typically has its trailers on Wednesday with announcements the day before, so if that is happening it will be tomorrow imo

I'm starting to get nervous. Switch pro, Prime remaster o WW/TP HD ports would make me very happy, in that order.
Pokémon Presents could be nice if they show us that the new game truly is a high quality big open world (arceus was a great game, but not even close to what I want).
Then Bayo3, 1,2,Switch or Splat3... I don't care. I like Splatoon, but I'm not interested in this one unless it has a great story mode.

I would actually be hyped for a StarFox musou if it were still space combat. Put me in an arwing and give me fleets to mow through and it'd be a damn blast.

It'd never happen because if the requirement that musou games have like a thousand unique playable characters but yeah

Same here, I really expected some kind of silence, the only pause they had was hours after the news broke, a Mario Kart Tour trailer was scheduled to drop. It went live in the game itself, but the usual accompanying tweet wasn't put out (and still hasn't been)

think is says something about my brain that the first thing I saw in that image was "globla" and then I somehow ignored the rest of it apart from the date and just assumed it was all in Spanish or something haha.
