but...but...I also predicted Splatoon something, or at least manifested it and also predicted Summer wishes Splatoon 3 art, I am a good guy kinda like Miyamoto even.
 
So is there any real reason we should be expecting an announcement as big as new hardware this week?

New hardware this week is very doubtful in my mind especially the SplatOLED was only shown off last week, they need to let that announcement have room to breathe.

Twitter drop of Mario Kart 8 DLC is what I expect, or a trailer showing what’s coming to Mario Strikers

Everybody's 1-2 Switch global test party


  • happens days after the announcement of the game itself; near instant gratification
  • plays the brand new EPD 4 party game, with amazing horse host moderator, good music too
  • costs no dollars
  • beautiful lobbies with a lots of other players (so Fami members can play together too)
  • the shitfest and fun memes that are after on the internet are glorious
 
I would much prefer to get the MK tracks before XC3 but I am not confident that they're this month

would be very happy to look the fool though

I dunno why everyone is so convinced Waluigi Pinball is going to be in this wave. Hell, I dunno how anyone could be confident about any track in any wave, just feels so scattershot to try and predict certain tracks at certain times.

The track I’m the most confident in is New York Minute, and even then I’m only like 50% confident in that prediction.

I think it's because if Waluigi Pinball isn't included Nintendo should just stop making games at that point. Clearly they can't be trusted.

It's a fan favorite track, a DS track is the last course in one of the Cups in Wave 2, it's in Tour, and it's on the leaked banner.
 
I can't wait when tomorrow Nintendo will just tweet video like this, where people will be playing Everybody's 1-2 Switch without actually telling us what game is that, then a week later the game will be announced.

yeah but there's DS tracks in later waves too

no reason to believe it's in this wave and not a later one, even if you're convinced it's coming

Mario Kart Stadium and Mario Circuit share an identical melody, but are still arranged differently given how distinct each track is. Wario Stadium and Waluigi Pinball would likely get the same treatment.
 
A first party mini would be cool but as a Pokemon myself, I'm down with a Pokemon Presents for Scarlet/Violet too. Before we had Mega evolutions, z-moves, gigantimax... gotta see what party tricks we're gonna pull this time.

Save New York Minute for the Moon Cup in Wave 3
 
Everything about this week is screaming Pokemon announcements.
And I doubt Nintendo is gonna do a big event the same week as Pokemon's big event.

I'm at the point where I've completely abandoned the possibility of a 2022 release of Drake now, just feels unfeasible at this stage. I mean I was always leaning to 2023 but at this stage 2022 feels completely unrealistic.
