The obvious answer is to just call it Super Sampling. To fit the Super Nintendo Switch branding. Leave out the more technical aspects of DLSS, but "Super Sampling" is marketable.
 
There's an interesting minor conundrum with some of the prefixes: there is already a Super Mario Party and a New Pokémon Snap

Maybe you could choose to play at 4K or not for some games and that choice will be given some "Switch Vision/Screen" label to go with the 'choose how to play' gimmick.

I would guess they will go with the simpliest one - Nintendo Switch - 4K Model. But I just don't see them saying "oh this game runs better on Switch - 4K Model or this game is exclusive for Switch - 4K Model. They need one simple word that is to the point.

I think that's just standard preview embargo stuff, nothing indicating a second round of previews

Plus while IGN does call things "Final Previews" regardless of whether or not they're actually Final, I doubt even they'd do that if they knew a second round was coming up

Nah. If it was 2 previews. They would’ve had ones a while back. There’s no reason to have a preview this week and then another and then the following week reviews.

I don’t personally think it’s gonna lead to anything next week. But I’m thinking it more that reviewers actually got this game far ahead of time then the usual timeframe they get. Might even get reviews earlier. (Probably not)

I'm not sure about Switch Pro being named "4K Model". It may output up to 4K menus and some games, but I don't expect it to run most games at 4K, and much less modern third party games (even PS5 and Series can't run absolutely everything at solid 4K).

In my opinion, the name should clarify that it's a more powerful console, but it doesn't make sense to focus on the 4K resolution if just some games will use that properly. And since it is an enthusiast product, I think 60 FPS is much more attractive for its target audience than 4K.

I could be wrong, of course.

Nintendo has done this before, but what we expect? We just dont know and can only speculate there is smoke for a new hardware event it might happen there is no real leaks about it, is just speculation ‘because it makes sense’ if they want to release it this year. We could get nothing next week really or just Twitter drops
 
Kimishima has given us lewd Nintendo thus Kimishima > Furukawa. Also that madman actually predicted that the Switch would reach Wii like sales numbers when everyone was laughing about that statement.
 
I'm leaning towards next week being a First Party Presentation + maybe Treehouse more so than a hardware showcase. While I'm convinced a "Pro" does exist and will be released in the next year or so, I don't see why it has to be revealed now. But there's a lot of signs pointing to a potential first party event soon, imo.

The main question then though would be why delay a first party showcase out of June and why split up the first and third party showcases in the first place
 
What a long and boring weekend we got ahead of us.

If nothing happens next week. I’m counting July out. Which means August will look strangely empty.

But at least Xenoblade and Live A Live are coming after next week. That’ll keep me busy for the entirety of august and probably September. And October.

Took me 6 months to beat Xenoblade 2

I would say prediction is a little strong. It was more optimistic expectation.

If there's "only" a first-party showcase w/o new hardware, then I suspect BotW2 is a big reason for this. I bet they wanna show a lot of it (in addition to other firsty party games ofc).
