I want so badly for Manscaped to have the guts to hire Nate and MVG as actual spokespeople, complete with cardboard cutouts at the displays and everything.Went to the target grooming aisle today and they now have a Manscaped display. There is a specific shaving cream for the groin area. My mind was blown. I feel that Nate and MVG need to speak more to this specific product so others can learn of it.
All I'm taking away from this image is that they give their security guards swords.
This is all the incentive I need to want to apply.
Edit: Ayo there's an employee garage sale at Nintendo as one of the perks? What do they sell at those

No, I didn't see those. Heard great things about Escaflowne.Really satisfying chunky build, I can see why the line is doing well. No PC jointing is always interesting engineering. Some Gundam marker touch up required of course
And since it’s always fun to have a size reference (even if this one is 1/72 vs the 1/144 of the other 2)
Although if Jeeg here had his classic height he’s actually be roughly in the same scale
What no Escaflowne, Magic Knight Rayearth or Shin Getter Robo Armageddon?
(To be fair Escaflowne is in my backlog too), however I’ve watched Getter Armageddon and Magic Knight Rayearth and they’re both great. Rayearth especially as it’s an isekaied magical girls show where they eventually get Rune gods(mechs) to use. And Season 2 has them to resolve the fallout of what happened in season 1 regarding a twist in relation to them finishing what they were summoned for. Has one of my all time favorite twists on the evil doppelgänger trope too.No, I didn't see those. Heard great things about Escaflowne.
Were they not of age already? I just assumed that most Souls fans were already in either their late teens or young adulthood.Wait until Souls fans come of age

That typo actually made sense, though. I ran into the same issue with SS and solved it by realizing small wrist flicks were enough (if I didn't feel like being extra just for fun). And when reading "dining motions" I literally pictured holding a fork and spoon and the degree of movement involved in using those and thought "actually yeah, that's the way to do it."You don’t have to use your arms for skyward sword. It’s all in the wrist. Just sick to dining motions.
*simple, not dining (damn autocorrect)
The trend these days is sucking out the visual identity of what makes those franchises unique, it seems.re KH4: why does every modern triple ayyy japanese game look like those nintendo hire this man videos
Doesn’t look like we have an amiibo ST here yet, so I’ll just post this here:
Finally got around to taking new photos of my and my partner’s 100% complete amiibo collection of all 828 currently released amiibo—that’s every single amiibo figure, card, plush, band, and cereal box!
Any other amiibo collectors here who go for 100%? Or even just anyone who still regularly collects amiibo at all? (Seems like most people stopped caring about amiibo in recent years, unfortunately…)

all that talk about how super powerful hardware is supposed to unshackle devs and let them do whatever they want and its all just photorealism lol. thankfully we still got the indies and some larger devs carrying the stylized games cause forward but i fear their numbers will diminish as this gen goes on.The trend these days is sucking out the visual identity of what makes those franchises unique, it seems.
Glad to be stuck with older generations.
THE ENDING OF KIRBY THO
For anyone feeling down about the lack of Nintendo news, don’t forget 13 Sentinels is less than 24 hours away
Also, Chrono Cross just came out and is pretty darn cool still too!
Thanks compadre - movies I would be interested in, too; mostly I've only watched the Ghibli stuff, as well as the Neon Genesis Evangelion rebirth movies. Not sure what's available in the UK, but some of my favorite series (that haven't already been mentioned) are:
Newer stuff I enjoyed:
- Honey and Clover
- Haibane Renmei
- Azumanga Daioh
- The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (and its finale movie)
- Nana (although it kinda ends without an ending, as the author never finished the manga)
- FLCL
- Barakamon
- Your Lie in April
Not sure if you're sticking strictly to series or if you'd be interested in movies, but just in case you can't go wrong with the works of
- Satoshi Kon (Perfect Blue, Tokyo Godfathers, Paprika)
- Makoto Shinkai (Voices of a Distant Star, Your Name, Weathering With You)
- Mamoru Hosada (The Girl Who Kept Through Time, Mirai, Belle)
Your Lie in April sounds like a very good fit for me, if it's available. Thanks!+1 to Cowboy Bebop and Baccano. I’d also recommend Madoka Magica, Fullmetal Alchemist, and if you like piano and Chopin, Your Lie in April.
My favorite anime of all time, though, is Wolf’s Rain. I’m not sure it’s accessible, but I highly recommend looking it up if you can.
Thanks!I’ll recommend in no order:
Madoka Magica (my favorite!)
March Comes In Like A Lion
Yu Yu Hakusho
Hajime No Ippo
Nichijou
Symphogear
Mob Psycho 100

So I'm getting ready to relocate to a different country for a year and that's also stressing me and causing some anxiety and the like; even though it's an exciting thing, it's also making me really nervous. Especially after 2 years of pandemic time where I've lived with my parents and the family dog and will now be relocating on my own.Ugh, just finished season 4 of Killing Eve and man, what a shame to see such a formerly amazing show go out like that. I loved seasons 1-3, but the 4th is of a significantly lower standard, and the ending in particular was a letdown.
It had its moments where the old brilliance of the series shone through, but now that all's said and done, I would rather it have ended with Season 3.
I feel really bummed out and gloomy now. The lack of big Nintendo news in some time doesn't help either, nor does the daily anxiety I've been struggling with.
Could really use a lift. A Splatoon 3 date would be nice. Hope we don't have to wait til June for that.
I mainly don’t want people to miss out on awesome games they might not know they’ll really enjoy. Everyone is going to feel differently about the release gap based on their own situations, so all I can say is if you are bummed out about the release gap and you aren’t already planning to pick it up, don’t forget about 13 Sentinels. If you have any love for sci-fi, I think you will enjoy 13 Sentinels. Chrono Cross, my favorite PS1 game, is cool too. I especially dug it came with Radical Dreamers which I think every Chrono fan should try, though I don’t think RD will connect with everyone.Early april has been good for Switch, Lego Star Wars, The Show, Chrono Cross, 13 sentinels, NSO additions and Dread DLC.
But going forward from the day after tomorrow until the release of Strikers - There's a very thin output of games coming (as we know of)
There's basically Switch Sports late april and nothing of note in May.
I think that's what's on many peoples minds.. and for someone who has zero interest in Switch Sports it's gonna be a long dryspell unless there's some surprise reveals or a fancy indie showcase very near (likely)
I'd had that blank spot on my mind since the Advance Wars delay, because I'm almost certainly not getting either Sports or Strikers. June/July is great for me, with Three Hopes, Sunbreak, Live Alive, and probably/possibly Splatoon 3 arriving then.Early april has been good for Switch, Lego Star Wars, The Show, Chrono Cross, 13 sentinels, NSO additions and Dread DLC.

But yes, if you are someone who plays a ton of games and are focused on new ones, it is more quiet for new releases until June which will be absolutely stacked. We still have though The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe, Switch Sports, NIS Classics Vol 2, free Melty Blood DLC, and Chocobo GP Season 2 to look forward to (Chocobo is excellent btw, the F2P GP mode is my favorite part).

But because I had the blank patch on my mind, I'm now probably over-prepared for it, with 13 Sentinels preordered, Pokemon Legends installed and not started, Kirby to finish, my Pile of Shame festering in the background, Earthbound on NSO, and Mass Effect Legendary Edition on my Xbox.
You've just reminded me I meant to do Triangle Strategy Golden Route and another Dread playthrough before the end of June... Woops.Yeah I'm good myself - still playing Triangle Strategy, Kirby and with both 13 sentinels and Chrono Cross I should have no problems until Strikers which is my next game. Then there's Monster Hunter Rise and Live A Live and I'm probably good for the rest of the summer with that =)
