To me TTYD remaster is a given to come at some point. Considering the amount of requests its gotten and where the series stands today, Nintendo would want to bring it back.Wasn’t #RemasterThousandYearDoor trending a while back?
Exactly, if they don't manage to put it out on that day they are FOOLSThe 35th anniversary of the game, and a Friday?! It’s perfect!

Who would even handle a remaster for F-Zero GX, it's very unlikely that Sega would handle it
I would expect a new F-Zero game rather than GX remaster but who knows
Although they are only a small team, Shin'en Multimedia (FAST Racing) offers itself. For one thing, we haven't heard anything from them for a while now regarding a new game, and for another, we don't know how long this possible remaster has been in development.Tbh, it could just be outsourced to any dev who remasters games, doesn’t have to be Sega.
Just about any port/remaster/support studio. I don't think anyone expected Pikmin 3 Deluxe to be made by Eighting for instance (who made the Kururin games, who had experience on ports, but never ported a Nintendo developped game). We probably won't be able to guess who is handling it unless it's NST or something.Who would even handle a remaster for F-Zero GX, it's very unlikely that Sega would handle it

True blending of fantasy and sci-fi was done in the Might and Magic series. You have your stock fantasy premise, creatures, characters, setting, and then towards the end you find out the entire world is actually a colony ship built by an alien race as an experiment to seed an otherwise dead world and one of their AI went rogue and tried to steer the ship into the sun.
So it's like stock fantasy mixed with stock sci-fi, no steampunk or magitech, just good old fashioned rogue AI.
Easy, 3DO said "hey these main games aren't selling very well maybe we should drop the jarring sci-fi stuff"But how do the Heroes of Might & Magic games fit into this?

I assume that's what happened
Emily recently shared Nintendo regularly looks at fan feedback and is preparing many remakes and revivals based off that. There are more GameCube remasters coming and more from other platforms.Apologies if this is poor form, but I've had a super busy week and have only been able to pop into these threads briefly... so why do I keep seeing mentions of Paper Mario remakes? Is it purely speculation/wishful thinking, or is there some reason to believe something like that might happen?
Only if it's good. I.e. not done by Ubisoft and basically just make HoMM3 againHmh, good thing that this happened then. Btw. i could go for a new HoMM, you too?
I stand in solidarity with you, brother! If Square doesn't release Chrono Trigger, I'll delete my Ubisoft Uplay account. If Square don't release Chrono Trigger in my birthday month of next year, I'm deleting my account.
not my fami account, but still
A very small studio who makes indie games and once made a (or two ? I forgot) futuristic fast paced racing game doesn't sound like the best candidate for a remaster of a Gamecube game, no matter what the genre of said game isAlthough they are only a small team, Shin'en Multimedia (FAST Racing) offers itself. For one thing, we haven't heard anything from them for a while now regarding a new game, and for another, we don't know how long this possible remaster has been in development.
I see, appreciate you filling me in! I'd love to see an older Paper Mario remade, hopefully that's one Nintendo pickedEmily recently shared Nintendo regularly looks at fan feedback and is preparing many remakes and revivals based off that. Speculation on Fami's side from those comments is weighing in on Paper Mario TTYD, F-Zero GX, Kid Icarus Uprising remasters, and more.

That is such a massive underestimation of the talent Shin'en has. Such a smart team on the development front, knows how to get the best out of Nintendo systems, has plenty of fresh ideas for new content, and clearly has a great track record with futuristic racers. Manfred and the team get my vote, definitely.A very small studio who makes indie games and once made a (or two ? It's going to be made by a studio specialized in ports and remasters, either an internal one (NST for instance), or external.
Oh yeah my bad and I added DK94You forgot Kid Icarus remaster
Okay, I am too lazy to look it up, but this has been the second day in a row I checked in on this thread and people were talking about a potential new F-Zero project, so I would like to know where this talk is coming from.
What's a SyluxHunter, precious?Iirc it was a (the last?) SyluxHunter tease.

im really looking forward to today. my wife needs a new phone, so we'll be upgrading hers no matter what. and depending on what verizon's trade-in offers are, maybe i will too. also, i hope the new airpod pros are there!Man I hope that Apple event is good. I need a new iPhone, I’ve been making this current one go for four years so I’m overdue a replacement lol

I really want new AirPods but my current pair is working fine and they’re too expensive to justify a new pair otherwise ;__;im really looking forward to today. my wife needs a new phone, so we'll be upgrading hers no matter what. and depending on what verizon's trade-in offers are, maybe i will too. also, i hope the new airpod pros are there!
For me an obvious port can be Yoshi's Wooly World. I know it has already been ported to the 3DS, but that hasn't stopped them before (Hyrule Warriors). Plus Wooly World was received far better than Crafted World from what I've seen.Non GC/Wii games that I can see getting remakes/remasters. I don name Fire Emblem/Pokémon games because I’m sure someday they will be remake lol:
- The Frog For Whom the Bell Tolls (GB); curious title that never got released worldwide
- Donkey Kong 94 (GB): classic title that a full remake would be very cool.
- Golden Sun 1/2 (GBA): 100% it will happen someday. Hopefully they have enough budget to make a full 3D remake
- Mother 3 (GBA): Fixes some issues and a dream lots of west fans had since years can finally be true.
- Rhythm Heaven (GBA): The best would be a new game I know but considering it never leave japan they can just go and remake this one, maybe improving its issues or adding new games.
- Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan (DS): They would require to remade the controls but I think it can work, maybe a duo release of both versions worldwide? Then release a remake of 2nd Ouendan as DLC.
- Jump Ultimate Stars (DS): Update the roster with the newest Shonen series. Its a license nightmare I know but I always heard wonderful things of those titles so that would ve very worthy.
- Kirby Triple Deluxe/Robobot Planet (3DS): as filler for next main title I can see Hal re-releasing NGC/Wii/3DS games to make some time
- Kid Icarus Uprising (3DS): this is a given and will happen hopefully next year.
- Luigis Mansion Dark Moon (3DS): a good wait until the 4th title, packit with the original title.
- Ever Oasis (3DS): Maybe they can gave Grezzo a second chance
- Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga/Bowser Inside Story (3DS): remaster/remake of an already remake lol but if they aren’t interested in doing more entires, just go and rerelease those ones.
The new big Xenoblade expansion is next year. Hopefully we get two Directs at least by then.
Xenoblade 3 extra story is coming at E3 2023 at the earliest. It's the last part of the DLC scheduled to release.
my counteroffer — The Legend of Zelda: Smell’s BellsMy new official guess for the Zelda title is The Legend of Zelda: The Hands of Time. Link has a magic hand that turns back time, time as a theme is a Zelda (and especially a Breath of the Wild) staple, and reversed music was even in the original teaser. I think it conveys a lot already, and could potentially be part of a broader theme of the game; Nintendo has said that revealing the final title will give away too much.
The Legend of Zelda: Grögol’s BonanzaYeah we need more cool words in our guesses.
The Legend of Zelda: Vitrification of the Stone
The Legend of Zelda: Fiddle of Dawn
The Legend of Zelda: Vivification of the Snuffle
The Legend of Zelda: Verisimilitude of Orangutan
The Legend of Zelda: The Necrotic NyckelharpaThe Legend of Zelda: Grögol’s Bonanza

Plus the Disney game showcase Friday, Ubisoft Forward Saturday, then a direct next week, it should go by quick! If you’re getting Splatoon 3 the wait for the direct next week should be easier for you.
