I actually think that in a way, a "bad" Direct is actually interesting because it sort of heavily implies that there will be a big blowout for their next console early next year with a lot of stuff revealed.
 
Decided to get into the spirit for tomorrow with an avatar change. Hopefully I won't have to put clown paint on him afterwards.

Hinano is a veteran magical girl and is one of the side characters who helps rally together others when the Wings of the Magius decide to truly invade Kamihama. I don’t know if you saw, but you and Marce-Chan both had Link avatars in this challenge so at that point I knew I had to pick the Amane Twins for you both! Like her sister Tsukuyo, Tsukasa also is a White Feather in the Wings of the Magius and wields a flute in battle. I drew another connection to Link there as he plays a different kind of flute in Phantom Hourglass. Tsukasa is a bit more fun and easy-going compared to her sister, so it made sense to give you Tsukasa as someone running with the Fun Tier.

You got Konoha Shizumi as your new avatar from now until a month after the Direct airs! I’m unfamiliar with the character in your avatar so I wasn’t sure at first which character to pick. Your prediction dates were my favorite at the start of the challenge, so I decided to give you one of my favorite characters, Konoha. While she doesn’t have much of a role in the main story aside from participating in the final battle, Konoha was a staple character in my party for much of the game. I really dug both her fighting style that centered around her two sided scythe that has a butterfly design on both ends and her super powerful and spectacular Magia attack.

There's only been two morning Generals recently, and I'd argue they were both pretty highkey all things considered. Fire Emblem Engage, Pikmin 4, Octopath Traveler 2, Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Tears of the Kingdom title and release date, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Pikmin ports, WarioWare, list goes on.

Jolyne, Trish, and Lucy carry. That might be my JOJO Bias, but still I love how Resilient and (mostly) respectful the Women in JOJO tend to be overall. Erina is a Legend, Lisa Lisa, while underutilized, was still awesome, and has some Untranslated Stories thanks to JOJO Magazine. Aya is one of my Favorite Characters Ever, stealing the Spotlight from anyone else for the One Arc she was actually important to, Trish was awesome and went through a Great Arc, Part 6 was full of fun Women, Lucy was arguably more of a Main Character than Gyro at points, and Yasuho was kind and was key to helping Gappy on his Journey. Overall I really like how Araki writes Women. Wish he would write more though.
 
I'm only listening to the first party portion of Nate's video. Some things of note, though I suggest watching it yourself:

  • Genealogy is just a matter of when Nintendo wants to announce it
  • Nate has only heard about a GX remaster, not any sort of F-Zero 99
  • Both he and MVG seemed skeptical about Prime being here in any capacity, whether that be Prime 2 remaster or 4. Nate seemed to think that would make sense at a later time, and that Genealogy would be a more logical announcement for a Direct around Tokyo Game Show. Both thought that GX was more likely as the Gamecube remaster for this direct than Prime 2.

Also for F-Zero GX his source told him that it was GX the F-Zero game, maybe he did not know about 99
