Tbh, I'm pretty excited about Mario vs Donkey Kong. I can't wait to see the new art style, new ideas and everything. If it's made by NST it could be a really good game, they've grown so much since 2016.

It's a Kirby/Fire Emblem/Pokemon situation. Nintendo co-owned it (and the Kyle Hyde games) with the og developers, Cing.

Cing went bankrupt and closed down so as far as we know Nintendo is the only company with any rights to them now.

Yesterday night I also thought Pyoro knew how important a DK game is for people;

Not he's the one to blame for MvDK even existing at all, but you know.. maybe just not count on the most desirable outcome as a sure thing

Confirmed:
  • Nintendo Direct upcoming week, probably either Wednesday the 13th or Tuesday the 14th
  • Untitled Princess Peach game will be there, possibly titled 'Princess Peach Showtime' or similar
  • A new Mario vs Donkey Kong game, with the return of the mini's
  • A remake of Another Code/Trace Memory
  • A new F-Zero game with 99 elements called "F-Zero 99"

Pyoro's german Alt (Unconfirmed):
  • A game with dolphin(s) in it
  • Paper Mario TTYD Remake
  • A new Mario & Luigi game
  • Daisy appearing in the Untitled Princess Peach game

Rumors not yet confirmed by Pyoro:
  • Metroid Prime 4?
  • F-Zero GX remaster
  • FE4 remake
 
Pyoro has leaked maybe 7 minutes out of a 40 minutes direct everyone. Let’s remember the Peach Showtime, F-Zero, Another Code, Mario vs DK is probably adding up to 7 minutes the most of a Nintendo direct.

We have roughly 35ish minutes left unaccounted for. Of course Splatoon Side Order, Mario Wonder, Warioware and Mario RPG will be there too. That’s not going to take much time up.

- teased a DK game, then indicated it's Mario vs DK; says it will include the minis

- teased F-Zero and a new 99 game, then hinted they are the same thing

- indicated the Peach Game will be shown again and get a title reveal, hinted it's something like Prince Peach Showtime

- said a DS and Wii game are being remade and that they are connected; hinted it's Another Code (aka Trace Memory in North America)

I think that's everything so far

Honestly I still like Good-Feel DK

They've probably been up to something else for Nintendo since YCW. Another Yoshi is obvious, but they've already done two and it's not a must-have, especially if it's on top of Marios Wonder and RPG + Warioware + Peach + Luigi's Mansion + DK, particularly when Yoshi is playable in Wonder. People were down on YCW versus YWW, why not let Good-Feel stretch a little instead of putting them on yet another Yoshi? It's not like DK hasn't been passed around before

The rumor was EPD Tokyo would be doing it, but they've probably got their hands full doing 3D Mario. It's feasible that they could spare a few staff to help guide Good-Feel, which could assuage people's concerns without requiring them to have been doing two whole-ass games primarily in-house

Team Ninja makes hack and slash games, Dead or Alive, and some soulslikes. I really doubt they have the right people to make a platformer which looks like it's going to cater to a more casual audience. It's gonna be a ninja outfit for a stage play in a feudal Japan castle or something and there's gonna be ninjis on the screen as well, I can almost guarantee this it makes so much sense.

I still cant belive it just fzero 99 "fans of a Fzero will be happy" for 99?? He truly thinked that whan even everyone under his replies begs him to not be that?
 
I mean I always feel suspicious of first party direct leaks more than a few days out cause the people who should have this info is super small. But we’ll see

At least they used to wait till the 24 hour mark for details. Made it easier to avoid(and caused less suspicion)

I don't buy it either. I think the overall opinion will be "Wow this is kinda neat" while F-Zero fans who have been waiting 2 decades are gonna shake their fists at the sky and say "well at least Nintendo remembers". Obviously this won't be everyone - but I don't think people are gonna be as excited for a NSO freebie compared to a port of GX.

It's called mute the thread, Pyoro gave you warning, the thread gave you warning. You only have yourself to blame for spoiling yourself on a marketing event to sell you video games.
 
I'm scared, but I don't want to completely abandon hope for the rumored GX remaster. If I'm not mistaken, there were a couple previous comments from reliable leakers that pointed specifically to a GX remaster, right? A whole F-Zero blowout would be the way to go - GX remaster, F-Zero 99, and all the GBA games on NSO to offer Switch owners a complete F-Zero experience (including the SNES and N64 ones, that should be all of them). And then... brand new one for Switch 2! :D

I agree! I don't usually participate in our Direct speculation threads, this has been my first time. It's honestly been a blast. Even if Metroid Prime 4 is absent yet again, the true Process is the friends we made along the way.

Um, these are all arbitrary timelines ascribed by you. Especially since any one of these things could end up on new hardware next year (new 3D Mario) or splitting gens next year (Metroid Prime 4).
 
WHY DOES EVERYBODY THINK THAT WE CANT JUST GET 2 F-ZERO PROJECTS? WHY WOULD NINTENDO MAKE A 99 GAME FOR A FRANCHISE WITH NO RETAIL GAMES? THEM DOING F-ZERO 99 BEFORE GX MAKES NO BUSINESS SENSE, AND GOOD BUSINESS IS THE ONLY PATTERN IN THIS LITTLE GAME WE CALL SPECULATION

I ment that in generall, I knew in what i went into it... I wanted to spoul me, i knew what i did ;) I speak Times Ago, when we haven't any or not that Leakers spoiling the whole stuff or teasing us.
 
I played F-Zero X on NSO and honestly this game is really good and it's amazing it was able to run on N64. I remember playing it briefly in a Blockbuster rental as a kid but this is my first time playing it since. Genuinely impressive.

You mean before the switch era? Because leaks were around during the beginning of the switch era
