Super Princess Peach and Metroid Other M are never getting remade.

Metroid Dread is Sakamoto apologizing for Metroid Other M, lol.

DKC Returns, Prime 3, and Punch-Out are the only games here with some shot.

Before the June Direct he leaked Super Mario RPG remake, Super Mario Bros Wonder, Detective Pikachu Returns and Pikmin 1+2. After that he leaked things about Pokemon, FIFA and Sonic. Those are all either first party Nintendo games (or related) or major third party games.

...So if we follow this pattern, the DS and Wii game remake are either a first party Nintendo game or a major third party game

Why would Pyoro call out Ashen like that? The dude doesn’t have to be a fake leaker and get banned from this website. We’ve seen leakers have some bad info here and there. Nate has gotten things wrong before.

If most of Ashens stuff checks out, especially the Kirby game, I think he’s good.

In defense of Pyoro, he posted a gif that is from a scene of DK fighting Mario. They were clearly trying to send the message, but the group think jumped to the wrong conclusion.
 
It's probably good that if the F-Zero and DK games are not what people wanted that they leaked early. It gives you about a week to process it. Imagine that none of it was leaked and how much more disappointed you would be?

Remember when Mario + Rabbids leaked months before the reveal? Everyone immediately hated it. But over time people learned to accept and then when the reveal happened it actually looked pretty neat.

Hello everyone, I'm Julian Eggebrecht from Factor 5 and Epic Games Cologne. I worked on Turrican, the Star Wars Rogue Squadron games, Lair and now our team is currently working Fortnite and the Unreal Engine 5. Speaking of Unreal, I always loved Nintendo, and appearing in a Direct was one of my biggest dream. Well, it isn't a dream anymore, I can go now home. Have a nice day !
 
After more thought, I hope the GBA Mario vs. Donkey Kong game gets remade. Pyoro didn''t specify it was a DS game, right? Just that the minis were involved? I find it hard to think that the DS game would translate well to a TV with gyroscope controls since some of the timing for the puzzles can be strict. If the gyro goes wonk, like it often does, you could mess up something important and have to start the entire level over. It'd be really frustrating. So I think a platformer without the touch element makes a lot more sense.

On the other hand, they could have used a gif of the many shots of Mario and DK actually fighting. The gif they used focuses only on DK and has him doing the DKC roll.

Not that I think there's anything malicious in it, mind. Might just be that they've misjudged things - I.e F-Zero fans being happy if the reveal turns out only to be F-Zero 99.

I guess it would’ve been more clear if this was used from the beginning. It is what it is. It’s over now, but I was just saying that’s all. It could’ve been handled better imo.

Okay but why would F-Zero fans be mad if it's F-Zero 99? I'm an F-Zero fan and I'd be thrilled about it. If the gameplay is solid F-Zero that's all I care about.

Is it because if the perception it would be a low budget Minigame? Because that's sort of jumping to conclusions. Maybe Pyoro has seen enough of the game to feel it's good news?

Heck, would say quite a bit for the series to be in the same pedestal as Tetris, PacMan and Super Mario Bros.
 
An F2P battle royale game is a great way to attempt to expand F-Zero’s popularity, as sad as it sounds

Regardless of if they do or don't, it won't matter as there's no DS remake it could be related to.
