So I am going to cross post this here. For everyone to see. Obviously take with a grain of salt.

I disappeared from Twitter, after becoming concerned over some DM's.

Check with Nate, Emily and the other posters in here. (Some of which work at Nintendo and a couple of gaming companies). I am not going to "out" people on here. But, Emily and Nate could comment on it.

Several items to speak of, in different areas.

Source 1

1st) Snitch I was told is getting his information mostly from getting access to Youtube videos prior to them being upload for public view. I know this is a working theory on these boards, apparently it is also the theory of some employees of the gaming companies. As well as Famiboards, Resetera, Reddit, and GAF.

2nd) The completed games Nintendo is allegedly "stockpiling" is not as many as people think. According to a developer. Big 1st party teams are mostly hard at work on Drake. Some games for Drake, some for Switch.

3rd) Drake = HOME. H-O-M-E with a twist. Similar to Vita & PS3. Some form of reveal this Fall. Maybe a YouTube trailer like Switch?

4th) I don't know what games are in the Direct. I do not have access to that information. Very curious about Goldeneye remaster, seems to be a lot of confusion here on what is included and if cross play, gameplay changes, etc.

I have heard more MS games are coming, don't think it is Gamepass related.. Not sure if Drake or Switch.

NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Source 2

1st) I have heard another gaming industry stopping merger will be announced by years end. This announcement will give investors and consumers insight that gaming isn't being absorbed because some companies are in an "arms race". In actuality, the "gaming industry is crashing".
Developers and industry people are looking for "life boats" and trying to get as much money as possible.
Everyone realizes the industry is in great upheaval. This will be THE TALKING POINT of the Fall/Winter for gaming. Much like Activision/MS was.

Gaming is not going away. Business models need to change. Expect $75-$100 AAA games if microtransactions go away. More evergreen games, less annualized titles. Based on the conversation I had.

2nd) The spotaneous Direct model is dying. Some 3rd parties are coordinating to announce games every 3 months to correspond with financial reporting requirements.

This will give investors, financial reporting and consumers an idea of when to expect information while still being able to be surprised with the actual content.

Some of these announcements will be able to be timed closely to current gaming events. TGS for example.
Assuming this is accurate, you should expect Nintendo Directs, Sony State of Play and Xbox events to pivot towards this model.

No more wild speculation on when it could be. You will have a window when companies will speak to developers, investors, consumers. Even if, we don't know what the announcements are. You will have an idea of information windows better than we do now.
Is this a crosspost from 4chan or something?

my dream portends TurboGrafx (which isn’t something I know anything about) and also Link accidentally getting split across a broken platform with several exposed nerve endings, which is a monument for 100 years until they put him back together

also they made a big deal about swimming Gorons

also something that looked like A Link to the Past but extremely gory hailed as an β€œold classic resurfacing”

So the Shiny Moose has spoken!

I was saying for years that Nintendo will release Zelda TP HD and WW HD on Switch like double pack,
tomorow we will see if I was right.

oh, gotcha

you’re saying the game Mooseman is getting a Deluxe rerelease

I imagine, wether it is a Main Direct or a Mini or whatever, at least we'll certainly get the next two Mario Strikers characters.
You know
King K Rool and E Gadd

in my direct dream I tried very hard to find out more, but I somehow instead kicked off a chain of events that might as well have been a new season of Fargo

I will eat my words and I may eat them in short order but I still do not believe WW + TP is a thing

but believe me I want WW HD on Switch and wouldn’t be mad about TP either

What company is big enough to make a major merger/acquisition for "life boat" purposes that wouldn't be viewed as an arms race? The companies I can think of that are that big already have a toe in gaming like Amazon, Google, and Meta, and I feel people would still view one of them acquiring EA/T2/Ubisoft/etc as a power play/arms race.

A merger would make more sense to me, but I'm not even sure what two companies that would even make sense for. I guess if EA and T2 merged that would send shockwaves through the industry.

Early morning PDT isn't concerning - it'll be 9am PDT and 12pm EST, same as their normal E3 timed Directs.
Lol, I would like to live in a world where 9 AM qualifies as "early morning."

It isn't a reason to be concerned either way. What happens happens.

You know, the famous Era direct thread that we just eclipsed ended on a Mini. This thread ending on a Mini might be the most fitting end it could ever receive.

Either way, it's been a fun ride. See you all on the other side.

open up your dethday present

it’s a box of fucking nothing

anything cool happen in the past six hours?
I dreamt a real weird direct I couldn’t see most of πŸ‘‰πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘‰

uhhhh I also maybe got a free piano? tbd

By the way,.. if this ends being a Mini, and is due tomorrow... then they won't announce today; they'll just drop it on YouTube and make a tweet to make people aware that is up. Mini Directs doesn't have a big buildup..

I still believe it's a General though...

Regarding the Snitch and Nintendo, I really think it's just him not wanting to incur the wrath of the Ninjas. Nintendo takes leaks much more seriously than MS or Sony, if anything leaking Nintendo content is when Brushie flied too close to the sun

What the? this is the weirdest thing I read today

this, incidentally, sounds like it could suck
I don't even know what this could possibly mean or why anyone at Nintendo would think it's a good idea.

Is this a WiiU 2.0 but now the tablet doesn't have to be tethered?

Is Drake both a console and a handheld with the same name but different skus?

Is Home just a console and the current Switch will continue to be a supported platform as the Home's "vita"?

Is this Moose person someone with a credible track record? They name dropped Emily and Nate so I assume they'll at some point comment "they have good sources" or "lol no". None of what they said about Drake makes any sense to me.

tune in for a Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, mostly focused on the Caillou Extended Universe

While everyone is here, let me plug the Game Devs of Color Expo 2022, the gold standard for game dev events. And more relevant to everyone here, they host a direct style presentation for all of the games at the event on YouTube, which will be happening this year on Thursday at 12 PM ET. So either way, we got Direcr Action this week!

I wanted to reach page 777. Feels out of reach unless we go all of today without an announcement.
there’s a chance we’ll crack 720 (blaze it) like the Switch screen

it’s a meme, mario
