Wow I'm really going from getting nearly every first party title at launch, plus, a number of third party titles on Switch last holiday, to just Bayonetta 3. lmao

Not really. Can’t hold much of anything with it and the pain medicine is keeping the pain at bay. Sent you a dm about i. Just awaiting a call for an appointment with a neurologist for what’s next next

Why would Nintendo want to make more Mario games? Doesn't seem like a wise business strategy to me.

If a game sells 700k each quarter after 2 years in the market, is it a dead game?

Talking about Animal crossing. Cause I saw a comment the game is "dead" but is it because it does not have the 2020 buzz

The more popular a game is at its peak the faster people call the game dead. Most people you hear from talking about Animal Crossing are the die hards that got the game in 2020 and put hundreds of hours into it or people who for some reason just want to badmouth it. The hardcore fans are a little salty (understandably imo) that Nintendo cut off support because they hoped it would get years of support with how much it sold. So even them might talk negatively about the game despite (hopefully if you put in that much time) loving the game.

A lot of the others just quietly play the game. The game is still selling well, its sales slowed down because keeping those sales up would've been GOAT level lol It is the number one selling game of all time in Japan for example and reached that fairly fast, of course it will drop off. People just think every game has to be in the news 24/7 to not be dead, but not everything can be GTA or Minecraft
 
Don't wanna @ Miyamoto on this but I hope he tells me when Ribbit King HD is coming to the Switch in the DMs

Just a question, the announced Bayonetta 1 physical release can be pre-ordered? I am in Europe and I do not see it anywhere. Also not in amazon.com

Yeah, I think no one expected the sales and the content plan was probably already set. Plus now a day a ton of games get extra stuff so.

This part (bolded) is what the people dont see. Not everyone is only shouting what they are playing.

Yup, and to be honest since we're already living in DLC world I would love if Nintendo just had a team do assets or whatever for their games like Animal Crossing at all times so they can get years of support. But calling a game dead because it doesn't get as much stuff as one would hope is silly

Pokemon Gen 9 should be cancelled and the 15 million is sales should be made up for by a strange assortment of niche titles of my choosing such as Wario Land 6, Rhythm Heaven 3, and Mario Baseball 3.

They might mean no more updates, even bug fixes stopped, buuuuuuut seeing how people are saying Switch Sports and Mario Strikers are dead despite selling millions, less than a year old, and still receiving updates. I am not inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, I have it pre-ordered on Amazon (US). Really hate myself as I am only buying it so I can delete my digital copy so I have more space for more games.

2023: Hey, we've been working on BotW2, here's a release date — it's out next month.
 
Splatoon 1 at 81 on MC
Splatoon 2 at 82 on MC
Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion at 83 on MC
and now Splatoon 3 at 84 on MC.

Given that an expansion for Splatoon 3 is coming, and if they hold themselves to that pattern, Nintendo will have made the perfect game with Splatoon 11 having a 100 score on MetaCritic.
