The Legend of Zelda: The Zelda of Legend

Not gonna lie I really don't like their marketing cycle. Nothing for months and then they release new info and it's just a small glimpse stretched out over 3-5 minutes videos. Not a fan of it.
I disagree. There’s nothing to sell anyone until the game comes out. Why drag it out over the summer when you can shorten the cycle and the wait is shorter?

Hard disagree, that trailer got me super hyped. How much more are they supposed to show? We've seen the starters, the legendaries, the gimmick, the three different story paths, a ton of the overworld and map, a bunch of gym leaders, the chairwoman of the Pokemon League, the Professors, how traversal works etc

Yeah I thought for sure we would see the starter evos in this trailer.
They really are keeping a lot of infos secret. This trailer teased a bit more of the two other quests beyond the arenas, showed the "bad guys" team, and just 3 new PokΓ©mon.

There's so many stuff from the leaks that I want to see, including one of the main gimmick of the game that is still fucking unrevealed lmao

Still no starter evos?!

Not sure what school is going to let kids go out on their own to fight literal wild monsters and plan to not be shut down by half a dozen government agencies, but I guess I can suspend disbelief since said monsters can literally be stored in a softball sized container.

That was a pretty good trailer, though kind of predictable the "three narratives" would be Team Evil, Legendary Pokemon, and Gym Times.

But yeah, I liked that trailer. Doubt I'll be picking it up, but I am always tempted to try new mainline Pokemon even though it's been a while since I really gelled with one.

Not really invested in the series anymore, but isn't them not showing a ton of stuff, including starter evos, like, a good thing?

It looks like another new kind of experience, much better looking than Sword and Shield, and quite different to Legends Arceus. I'm really looking forward to it.

There're still more surprises in the game (according to the leak info by the testers)....but i wonder if they're gonna keep that info hidden and have the players find out on their own.

If they showed anymore it would cross over into "spoiling the whole game before launch" territory that so many people online seem to hate.

I would agree if they didn't already had release multiple trailers :p
For me the problem is that they have too many trailers for what they want to reveal before release.

I mean surely this being part of formal education is a good thing. Back in Kanto, they just send 10 year olds off around the country on their own without any formal institutional support!

I would say the starter evos are basically the only thing "big" thing left that I think they should show. And they have over two months left to do it. So I really don't get the fuss

Starter evolutions are usually one of the last things shown off nowadays. Assuming TPC/Game Freak/Nintendo don't pull a Sword & Shield/Legends Arceus the starter evolutions aren't showing up until the final trailer.

Similar to Sword and Shield yes. Sun and Moon it was different though lol, they revealed a lot, people thought it was too much back then.
Exactly. S&M cycle came with a couple of caveats. It was the first mainline pokemon game to try a different system (even though its just gyms) and it was coming out with the shadow of the switch looming, essentially making it (to some people) look like the "last" 3ds game. They needed the eyes on the game

Now's the time, Nintendo. Announce the Direct while the iron's still hot.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Scarlet
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Violet

What if F Zero GX Remaster is only avaiable for expansion pack members ?
Or Gamecube Remasters in general ?
Remastering games is more expensive than running them on an emulator. Putting them behind a paywall (one that a lot of potential customers have already paid for, I might add) wouldn't be profitable enough, I think.

Splatoon 3 reviews falling exactly in line with my expectations. Definitely makes my purchase easier. I still have a ton of Xenoblade 3 to go, so switching between zany multiplayer and that gripping RPG is going to be great through September. I just still need to make time to play Bayo 1 and 2 before Bayo 3, so I just canceled my Mario + Rabbids preorder, since it'll probably be $30-40 six months after release. There's too much to play!!

VGC's 3/5 for Splatoon 3 is weird
I read through their review and it didn't even seem that negative so I felt a bit confused too. It's like they judged it by what they want it to be rather than what it is.
But when reviewing they only could talk about what it IS, so the review didn't even read that negative.
If you get what I mean?? I'm not very good at putting my thoughts into words. XD

I am still unsure of how long this hand thing will go, I did cancel splatoon and I’ll probably end up canceling nier and Mario Rabbids too.

Bayonetta 3 is still on the menu but we just have to see as that is a ways off yet still

A month and three weeks for Bayonetta 3 has me hopeful for you, man. Have you played Bayo 1 and 2 already?

Ages ago when they first came out for switch. Bought the physical collection. I got the bayo 1 physical pre ordered mainly just for collectors purposes to go with my bayo 2 physical. Wanted to replay the, but that may not not happen

I'm glad you've already experienced them though, at least that takes some prep time off your plate. Is your hand feeling any better at all from the past few weeks?
