Not sure if any of these 100% legitimate leaks were posted:
I always like checking how long these stay credible. Some falter right outta the gate, some last longer by being more boringer.

Leak 1: GameCube NSO? NEW FZERO? ORACLE REMAKE IN THE SAME SEASON AS BOTW2? WORLD PEACE?

Leak 2: WWHD frequent dips? They advertise this? xD A separate TP remaster? CHORUS OF DEMISE, a game in which you lug a 50-person choir around on your adventure? Does Beedle sing a solo?

Leak 3: t3h boring so must be true amirite?

Leak 4: Hands of the Void…? All dialogue sounds like corny melodic death metal lyrics?

Ah! That's what I was thinking. My guess is that it's a far too lucrative business to put out remasters on a regular basis. The file sizes of the games might also pose a problem I guess (if one stacks them up)?
File sizes wouldn't have to be an issue if Nintendo was efficient. A lot of first party GC games have a lot of dummy data to fill the disc, hence why a scrub tool can get some games like Animal Crossing down to like 60mbs. That does sound like a step too far for Nintendo which is likely why we're seeing the remaster plan.

first party
zelda ww+tp hd combo pack
zelda botw 2
metroid prime 1 remaster
f-zero gx remaster
new pushmo
gb/gbc coming to nso
mario strikers update
bayonetta 3 final trailer
splatoon 3 new update

third party
it takes two
time crisis remake
mario+rabbids 2
batman arkham collection
msg titles coming to switch
new 2d prince of persia
guilty gear strive port
sizzle reel, includes dmc4 port and skyrim anniversary edition

september direct predictions, go to make a 4chan leak, would make me proud lol :) .

Makes me wonder why capcom stopped porting their “mature” game line up to Switch ?

Nintendo can be masters of compression with some of the games, damn. Yeah, this makes sense I'd say.

Honest question, why are people expecting a remake instead of a HD port for Prime, when the Super Mario 3D Collection is right there lol?

If I recall correctly, the idea of a remake has been tossed around by several insiders for that particular title. The Mario 3D collection was always discussed as a port project, but the label of remake wasn't attached to any of the games.

Prime 1 could very well be an HD port knowing Nintendo, but I'd bet against it at the moment.

Cause that's what the rumor has been for awhile from respected insiders in this community. Also just being pragmatic, Prime already has the trilogy release, if you wanted to do a simple hd port, you'd hd port that, not the original by itself.

From what I've gathered it's an enhanced port of Metroid Prime, along the lines of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition I believe. IIRC it was Nate mentioning it?

Maybe they're thinking Nintendo will make something similar to Luigi's Mansion 3DS remake when they used Goobi before Luigi's Mansion 3.

@HockeyBird may I present to you my masterpiece, Nate the Crate

Excellent. I bet he gives you a random rumor whenever you open him but doing so requires buying Hate Keys.

There's been a lot of differing opinions on just what exactly the Prime remaster looks like. A while back a few people were saying it was basically a ground-up graphical remake with the core gameplay largely untouched. But it sounds like Grubb isn't expecting anything that elaborate, at least from what I gathered in recent podcast appearances.

With online play and voice chat!

No online. You'll need one Switch in dock mode to display what is happening in the overlord on the TV. Then you need connect 4 handheld Switches with the docked to display each other players inventory screen and their view when they go inside structures. You also need to buy a house to put the TV and the Switches in. Then you need to hire 3 people to be your friends to play with you. It's quite a pricey endeavor.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition and Skyward Sword HD also exist. Plus, the talk from reliable sources has - for a full year now - pointed to a remaster of Metroid Prime, not an emulated release.

I implore you all to think about how tomodachi life played

constant heavy use of the touchscreen, microphone, and cameras

Thought about it.

And I'm glad that era of Nintendo is over. Only Zelda and DK and Metroid from now on.

That's what I thought. Something like "Muppets Minigame Madness" is what I'd totally expect from Nintendo after DC Super Hero Girls.

Yeah, and there are many games fit in that description left. Dead Rising, Darkwatch, Bionic Commando, Asura's Wrath...

Not only that, their Switch output kinda diminished. All they did this year is just an expansion pack and another ROM dump collection. Dump your ROMs onto NSO, Capcom.

As far as i know, only mario can support that kinda shit. You do that with metroid and it will blow right back at you lol

The rumor has been very heavy remaster, not remake. From pretty reliable sources.

I am curious how Fire Emblem will be handled the next year. We've seen leaked images of the next mainline entry, and there's been rumblings about a FE4 remake that were brought to a head with the recent FE youtube show showing "not actual gameplay footage" of an English FE4 snes.

This is what has been reported. "heavy remaster" for Prime, with no word about prime 2 and 3. If the rumours were about 1,2, and 3 i imagine we'd all be expecting up-ressed ports.

Chances we'll see Bamco bring over a Soul Calibur with the most requested crossover character?

Real talk, part of me hopes for a Soulcalibur VI port, reasoning that hey, NieR Automata is coming to Switch, 2B is on SCVI, maybe they can take advantage of that potential free marketing and do it now.

Then I remember that they could have done that with The Witcher III and they didn't and I make myself sad.
