Fair enough, though i still don't think they would tease something ahead of a Direct appearance. My opinion now is that it's probably not something meaningful/Direct-worthy, and the Direct will happen this week

The other General that year was also a Thursday, this is always how things go, we alternate between Thursday and Wednesday years, this year is a Wednesday year

This is getting wayyyy too into the weeds regarding patterns. I seriously doubt NCL is going to melt down if they end up doing Directs on both Wednesdays and Thursdays within a year
 
It should be a forum rule that people aren’t allowed to doom post until after NoA shoots off their first tweet of the day. Or E3 announces they’re doing a digital only event in the middle of a pandemic.

Oddly enough, for several years they did stick to using one day or the other. Last year had general Directs on both a Wednesday and a Thursday though, so at this point it could be either day.
 
Can’t wait for tomorrow, let’s hope we will see the announcement then

Now I wonder why NoE doesn’t have a pinned tweet tho

I don’t understand the idea that “x game has to show up or it’s in serious trouble.” Especially from Nintendo. They’ve spent the past few years waiting until the absolute last minute to show games off, and honestly it’s better that way. Just chill about BOTW2.
 
At a certain point, it's just not funny anymore when every second post is either "No more directs" or "always week x" or "it's a mini", "it's a partner", "it's my aunts birthday colonel direct".

Think about it.
 
This thread is actually going to be the first to reach 500 pages before we actually see a Direct I reckon, lmao
