Definitely expecting the announcement tomorrow, if a Direct is even this week, but I'd love to be wrong! At the same time, haven't all the Directs been on Wednesday this year?

It may not be now, but we can’t rule out an afternoon or evening announcement. It’s reset the clock season!

Alright 24h from now then. Event announcements have been at 3 pm CEST recently, I don't see a reason why that'd be different for a general direct.

General directs are announced 32 hours before they air usually right? It would be 10AM EDT the day before then, and since directs have been on Wednesdays this year I'm assuming if it's not announced in an hour we're not getting one this week

It's funny how people take "soon" as "Pokemon trailer tomorrow". You really want to find everything you want just not let September 1st win. 25 hours.

There is no trailer mentioned anywhere in that tweet.
It's entirely possible the new Pokemon will be revealed in the Nintendo Direct instead of a randomly dropped youtuble video.
