I can't believe belly just shadow-dropped the deepest Famiboards lore on a random Tuesday.

I will add to that: Josh may have been the first public user to join, Red Monster may have been the second, but there is no record, public or otherwise, that will show you where I rank in that regard; you could say the number has gone— gunshot

Fun fact: When I created my Xbox account, MissingNo was (obviously) already taken, so the system assigned a number as a suffix, suggesting to me "MissingNo8085".

At first I considered going with something else entirely, but then I thought it was kind of ironic, so I stuck with it.
 
I realized something absolutely crazy....

Next year when BotW 2 gets released BotW 1 will be older then Skyrim when the Switch launched.

WTF... time doesn't even matter anymore.
 
Two days on the weekend go by and the weekend is over. Two days go by during the work week and it's not even halfway done. How fucked up is that?

I still don't think you can look at the "Switch era" and also extrapolate from patterns, especially one that has been broken. There isn't sufficient data there since there have only been five Januarys in the entire era. I still don't understand why examples from way further back don't count (stuff like Minish Cap released in the US in January for example).

Mine was starfield lol, we saw how that turned out. So right now its probably bayonetta 3 and saints row. Splatoon never clicked with me, but ill give 3 a try? Maybe the third time will be the charm for me

I don't give a shit about any metroid character really, I just care about what they do. Sylux has the metroid and stolen advanced GF gear and that's all I need

I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what it is. At this point going off recent history we arent getting a Direct until September. They had their “E3 show” with the third party direct and it’s been quiet on all fronts since. I don’t think Nintendo has ever done anything in August historically that wasn’t an Indie or game focused event and we’re essentially halfway through July.

Okay but I am REALLY happy that I don't have the minority opinion on this that I thought I did. I swear Metroid fan circles eat the Sylux shit up and I just... Cannot think of a worse character in the series to focus on. Period.

He's like the Shadow the Hedgehog of Metroid to me, he gives me serious edge for the sake of edge vibes, and not just because he's made of sharp polygons.

Even the other hunters in Hunters had some kind of intergalactic background they hailed from, some kingdom or culture or something that would be cool to expand upon. Sylux is literally just a Bionicle that hates Samus and the Federation because ???

That's the thing: he's such a blank slate, that I can't really get too upset that they're choosing to shine a spotlight on him, in Prime 4. They can do whatever the hell they want with the character, really, including (hopefully) giving him a visual redesign. I don't find Metroid Prime Hunters to be the greatest game, but if all they're taking from it is this glorified multiplayer skin of a character, I'm totally cool with that.
