My expectations are Fire Emblem and Splatoon 3 across June and July.it'd be crazy
but maybe fire emblem is the june game
I'll be waiting for the third version thenthree houses sequel- blue lions version and black eagles version
I doubt it personally. I’m thinking September if it’s true for this year.it'd be crazy
but maybe fire emblem is the june game
As long as that means Splatoon 3 is May and not Julyit'd be crazy
but maybe fire emblem is the june game
So many strategy and tactics games this year. Genre fans are going to be eating good for a while.it'd be crazy
but maybe fire emblem is the june game
I doubt we'll see it until E3. There's no need to see it now. Do a gigantic blowout at E3 like they did in 2016.There’s so much confidence for this week. Wild.
Also anybody thinking we’ll finally get the inevitable ramp up of BotW sequel coverage? Every trailer before this has been pity table scraps - the title reveal and story trailer have got to be coming soon…
I think end of July is more likely. Splatoon feels like the June game. The casual game is probably coming out in May.it'd be crazy
but maybe fire emblem is the june game
If it was called Belden Ring no one would careFire and Ice?
A song of ice and fire?

But I'm also Team BOTW2 2022 since that post so hmm.Nintendo 2022:
January: Pokémon Legends: Arceus
February: Hollow Knight: Silksong
March: Kirby and the Forgotten Land / Triangle Strategy
April: Advance Wars 1+2 / Resident Evil NSW
May: Fire Emblem / Untitled Horse Game
June: Splatoon 3
July: Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
August: Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope / Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake
September: Metroid Prime HD: Samus Reloaded - The Re-Up
October: Bayonetta 3 / Mass Effect: Legendary Edition
November: Twilight Princess + Windwaker HD Collection
December: Xenoblade Chronicles 3
It's times like these that I wish I cared even a tiny bit about Fire Emblem.
Even that feels too soon. 4 months after Triangle Strategy, 3 months after Advance Wars. Summer should belong to Splatoon 3 and Metroid Prime R.Yeah June feels like too soon to me, Three houses release time would make more sense(Late July)
I feel like 4 months after a 3rd party game of a similar genre is not too much of a consideration for Nintendo, and Advanced wars has a wholly different appeal imo and as a remake I don't think consideration or expectation will be quite as highEven that feels too soon. 4 months after Triangle Strategy, 3 months after Advance Wars. Summer should belong to Splatoon 3 and Metroid Prime R.
FE doesn't read as that kind of release to me, by nature of the kind of game it is it has a ceiling that wouldn't suffice for a holiday tentpole title imo. Summer feels like the right timeWhy not have Fire Emblem as an end of year release, if it’s really ambitious they might be pushing it as a tent pole release around Q4
At this point I think Nintendo is blue-balling us with Zelda because they know they can.My guess since TGA was that Zelda shows up if Nintendo are super confident in it making 2022. If they're uncertain, I could see them waiting until summer. That being said, I wouldn't take Zelda's absence as a sign of trouble, either.
Why not have Fire Emblem as an end of year release, if it’s really ambitious they might be pushing it as a tent pole release around Q4
It'd depend on what else they have. Maybe it gets an early October spot like Dread, before commercially bigger titles launch. But the usual window for Fire Emblem the last decade has been April through July. Why not have Fire Emblem as an end of year release, if it’s really ambitious they might be pushing it as a tent pole release around Q4
I'm not convinced by that. Zelda cuts through like little else. Last year they were willing to use Skyward Sword HD as part of the final segment of two Directs; if they're confident on it being 2022, I think they're going to start using it for maximum visibility. At this point I think Nintendo is blue-balling us with Zelda because they know they can.
They can wait till summer and it won't really mean anything, even if it's coming out this year, they could easily just do a big E3 blowout (not the entire show, of course, but still).
It's times like these, that I hate Nintendo .

I think I could see it either way, to be honest. I'm not necessarily convinced it won't be at the February direct, but I could see it being a no show and showing up at the summer and september directs.I'm not convinced by that. Last year they were willing to use Skyward Sword HD as part of the final segment of two Directs; if they're confident on it being 2022, I think they're going to start using it for maximum visibility.

Metroid Prime 3, Metroid Other M and Metroid Samus Returns they all released in late August to mid September. They could go for a similar date as Bayo 3 and BotW2 most likely will be winter releases. Though I think October is also good for Metroid. Why do we think Metroid Prime is coming this summer? I'm not sure where this came from, but I kind of always assumed it was Holiday 2022.
I guess it depends where you count “holiday” from. I don’t see any later than October. Why do we think Metroid Prime is coming this summer? I'm not sure where this came from, but I kind of always assumed it was Holiday 2022.
The gameplay doesn't at all interest me. I like tactical RPGs but Fire Emblem is too abstracted, if that makes any sense. It's too far removed from like, normal, logical combat IMO for it to be engaging. It's not that difficult
They won't release it anywhere near Zelda's release window IMO.Why not have Fire Emblem as an end of year release, if it’s really ambitious they might be pushing it as a tent pole release around Q4
I have it pegged from July-Sept. Maybe even that first week of October which Dread got last year. It might get the Skyward Sword HD treatment and positioned as a big summer game, or it comes out a decent amount of time before Zelda. I don't see them releasing Zelda and a Metroid game during the holiday window. Zelda is going to just suffocate any releases during that time. Dread was basically their fall game last year and it hasn't cracked 3 million. And they still released it before Mario Party and Pokemon. Timing is crucial when it comes to Metroid games. Why do we think Metroid Prime is coming this summer? I'm not sure where this came from, but I kind of always assumed it was Holiday 2022.
