I didn't wanna derail or post off-topic, but this thread here reminds me of the oldies music station a neighbor always played. They were a married couple who me and my parents got to know well. I'd always go over there and hear oldies and see Star Trek always on. Sometimes even to eat fried potatoes and gravy too. Those were the dayyys.... I miss em... Always helpful and nice to me and my parents. Sadly we've not had neighbors like that in YEARS! The closest we got was maybe 1-2 years or so back, but they moved.

Not a burger, but attempted “takeout” sesame chicken and fried rice. Ran out of corn starch so sauce didn’t get thick enough. Flavor is good though (disregard lack of sesame seeds). I guess if I can post anything, count this as my entry. I am also better at cooking than playing video games. Stole this idea from an Instagram story, but winged most of it. It’s pretty easy to make soy based sauces if you know the ingredients by eyeballing it.

Whhhhhaaaaaat? Mayo is like the one condiment I actually want on a burger! Garlic mayo for extra points. Mayo + BBQ sauce is really good, and so is mayo + dijon mustard, too.

A&W's not bad, but my preference lies with Wendy's (When no Five Guys is around)

I shouldn't admit to this, but I used to go there and order 3-4 dave single's and just munch down XD. It tasted like crack to me. (I don't do this anymore for good reason)

Whenever I used to go to McD's, I never liked the Big Mac, so I always got the QP. It was alright. Honestly, besides the decent poutine there, the best thing they had were the cheap-ish wraps.

I'm a gamer so I pretty much do it all

I make pretty good bread. Made cinnamon rolls for my family on Christmas that turned out great. I do a cool cake via reverse creaming sometimes. Just nailed a chocolate chip cookie recipe.

And I don't eat any dairy so it's all been dairy free

Yum! I went through a big bread phase in 2020 (who didn't lol) and I've made cinnamon rolls. I did croissants once which were delicious but good lord was that a lot of work. I wanna do it again one day but not soon

I have a banger chocolate mousse cake recipe that I haven't done in years, but unfortunately it is not remotely dairy-free. But I think my brownies recipe is dairy-free. Does butter count? You could probably just replace it with the vegan version tbh

I'm pretty sure Wendy's was always fresh? It was always advertised as such as least (obviously I wouldn't put using some legal loophole past a fast food restaurant). I'm not denying something else could've changed with their beef, but the only fast food frozen to fresh change I can remember is McDonald's quarter pounders a few years back.

Mayo on burgers is actually rather popular. Of the three burger giants (McDonald's/Wendy's/Burger King), McDonald's is the only one that doesn't do it.
 
I feel that Arceus has a good shot at being the best selling console game in the US, if not worldwide, this year.

A Pokemon game with almost a full calendar year to collect sales? I can't rule out that possibility. All depends if it can beat Call of Duty.

Tonight I finished game #3 for 2022

Overall, I give it an 8/10. I enjoyed the ride and art style. My one complaint is that at some points I felt loss to where I was just spamming commands. I understand that sometimes in these games you have to just "throw stuff at a wall and see what sticks", but needing to ask the same question three consecutive times felt cumbersome. I guess that is just how these detective games are supposed to be played though. That will probably keep me from falling in love with these games.

So the story was rather basic, but fun. I figured out the twist a couple of chapters before it was said, but I enjoyed it none the less. Seeing the protagonist pass his inheritance along was cool to see. I was half expecting the butler to be involved with the scheme, but he turned out to be innocent.

I'll play the other FDC game at some point, but Pokemon is about to steal my attention for the foreseeable future.

I don't think it's that insane. Currys have never been a particularly big games retailer given they're a general consumer electronics business; but they did offer a preorder discount on Arceus which reduced the cost to £38, which is probably the best price in the UK.

Luckily for us awful Brits, trapped on plague island with an openly corrupt, law breaking government and spiralling living costs, actual retail prices for Switch games are anywhere from £5 to £15 below the RRP of £49.99. £38 to £43 tends to be the most common range with independent retailers, and I should be able to preorder Kirby and Triangle Strategy for around £38.
 
So I know GF didn't exactly have the specific intention of NB inclusion when they changed it to "what do you look like?" instead of are you boy or girl, but it is pretty jarring to immediately get hit with gendered language
