Any chance it’s whatever this is?

Guess who's back
NES Remix being made into some kind of NSO perk also seems like a pretty obvious move to me. Those players already have access to NES games, so wouldn't they have fun seeing them turned upside-down? Odd that the brand died last generation, but perhaps the developers or sales didn't show enough interest to continue it.NES Remix is probably the weirdest absence from here. It seems like an easy port.
Exactly my thinking. Maybe they could get it stable at 30fps, but I suspect the game will be better received once Switch 2 is out and they can release a hopefully solid 60fps version. Of course, there's the possibility they'd completely retool the game to work for a console of Switch's performance level (and maybe Switch 2 will still require that retooling), but I don't know that they'd opt for that route. My only hesitation is how big the install base of Switch is. Maybe Xbox won't want to pass that up.Pentiment is the only realistic one, an unstable 30 FPS Hi-Fi Rush would not be well received.
https://www.gematsu.com/2024/01/game-freak-trademarks-pand-land-in-japanBut that Take Two game isn't coming until 2026! Wonder what could this be, that they couldn't wait until the Pokémon day.
Guess who's back
Please! Game is so good. Drill Dozer sequel would also be good. Someone also said Pulseman on Twitter and that would also be great. Of course it’s none of these but can dream.HARMOKNIGHT 2???????!!!!!!!!!!!!
/s cuz it’s never gonna happen but I would genuinely be psyched if it did
Sonic Generations, Hi Fi Rush and or another Xbox game, and maybe some valve stuff (thinking half life)Pocket Card Jockey
Penny's Big Breakaway
Inazuma Eleven
How many other games do we expect
I think probably at least one Xbox game; probably Pentiment, since iirc someone (Nate?) seemed to think a Switch 1 port was cancelledPocket Card Jockey

The tweet that was liked
the March reveal talk was pretty recent
I feel like for that to have changed the Switch 2 delay would have to be a decision Nintendo just arrived at in like the last week or so
I imagine that they likely will do the same thing that they did with the Switch, where they release a press release confirming they are working on new hardware that'll release in "March 2025", probably also putting out social media posts related to it as well. I do think that they just want it to be known so that the rumors subdue a little as they now begin to talk to more developers that would be outside the ones that would be there at launch or are important partners to the company! For me, it just depends if they do this before GDC like everyone was expecting before the reports or at their yearly Investors Meeting, which would replicate exactly what they did in 2016 for the Nintendo Switch!Do we know if there's still going to be a Switch 2 reveal in March?
I think Pokemon game will look exactly like Diamond….Not looking forward to the discourse when Game Freak reveals something next week, and then a Pokemon game on Pokemon Day and the Pokemon game doesn't look like a diamond.
They also haven't really tried... and why would they? I'm surprised they have any time for small projects.Game Freak's inability to create a sustainable IP outside of Pokemon is impressive

Nah. It'll look like a Pearl instead. Not looking forward to the discourse when Game Freak reveals something next week, and then a Pokemon game on Pokemon Day and the Pokemon game doesn't look like a diamond.
They barely have enough people to keep Pokemon from falling apart on a yearly schedule.Game Freak's inability to create a sustainable IP outside of Pokemon is impressive
If it's on Wednesday, I might be sitting in the airport for a layover. That's kinda prime time tbh. If it's Thursday, it's hit or miss depending on the time.Direct had better be on Wednesday. I’ve gotta go to Tokyo on Thursday, damn it.
Welp sounds like I won’t miss much if this airs during working hoursso far from Pyoro:
- Penny's Big Breakaway presence
- something from Level 5
- Contra: Operation Galuga demo
- something from Gamefreak (Quinty/Mendel Palace remake?)

I know L5 has Fantasy Life and Deca Police so I don’t expect anything that’s not one of those two, but I did have a thought that possibly they’d consider the OG Professor Layton trilogy on Switch. They did HD versions for mobile a while back so adapting those to Switch probably wouldn’t be a huge project. I know the new 2025 Layton is set right after the original trilogy and we’ve seen collections of nostalgic DS franchises like Ace Attorney be very profitable. This is an exciting one since there’s a lot of possibilities around it. Our leaked games thus far had been pretty expected for a while now between Penny and Level 5 (which is probably Fantasy Life). I’m guessing the way the tweet is presented it’s a non Pokemon game, though my mind did jump to Pokemon spinoffs like Mystery Dungeon that aren’t made by Game Freak.
I’m down for whatever, though I’d be most intrigued if it is brand new like whatever Pand Land is.
isn't any big 3rd party games
six other replies guessed Pocket Card Jockey but Pyoro like the one that also has Quinty/Mendel's Palace in itGamefreak is pocket card jockey
At that point in the year, they had already announced every single game that would be coming in 2022 (outside of Bayonetta 3 I believe, I think that was dated in July of 2022) so it wasn't really necessary for them to do one. They more than likely did a Partner Showcase because they made contractual obligations for an "E3-style Nintendo Direct" earlier that year, which could also be why the Partner Showcase was so full because of the fact they likely asked for heavy hitters for a larger General that would've taken place that month if E3 wasn't canceled. They had already done an Xenoblade 3 Nintendo Direct and a Splatoon 3 one would follow it soon after!!Why didn’t Nintendo have a general Direct June 2022?
Won't have anything to do with Pokemon, because Pokemon Day is coming up next week. They'll save their announcements for that. This has my head spinning.
Are we getting NSO Pokémon games, finally?
Is a Pokémon game getting revealed at this showcase? If so, are we not getting a Presents on Pokémon Day?
Is it a completely different project? I know they had some other big game they were working on.
