Absolutely.Needless to say, graphical issues aside, this looks so much more interesting than SwSh ever did.
One day.
Well one of those was outsourced (BDSP), but still
It does, for sure. I kinda was expecting Pokémon Legends to have main series status, but I'm quite ok if this is how the classic series is going to be from now onNeedless to say, graphical issues aside, this looks so much more interesting than SwSh ever did.
The player characters tell me the game is targeting a slightly older audience like Arceus was so I'm super happy about that. All Pokémon games now have characters customization so it's not like their designs really matter that much
Really dislike how young the trainers look, they appear like they're 8.
Maybe its because the last 4 mainline games all had pretty clear flaws and unfinished content. We have past experiences to be worried, not "trolling".Nothing quite like a Pokémon reveal to bring out all the pearl clutching and worry trolling.
Oh sorry I misread, thought you said 4 alreadyI’m only talking about Let’s Go, Sword & Shield, Arceus, and now this pair. That’s absolute insane output.
But remember how much worse Arceus looked on reveal?
The frame rates on the Pokémon were my only problem with Legends' initial reveal. I just don't like the look of these on first glance.I think this looks already better than Legends.
Honestly, with the Arceus free patch showing us they're ready to experiment with updates beyond DLC, and the homerun that Sword and Shield DLC / its general post-launch support were I'm not too worriedMaybe its because the last 4 mainline games all had pretty clear flaws and unfinished content. We have past experiences to be worried, not "trolling".
I think some things look pretty good but I'm going in cautious.
This.Maybe Legends was a side project they churned out with assets used for this game.

EXTREMELY low bar.Needless to say, graphical issues aside, this looks so much more interesting than SwSh ever did.
Am I the only one who'll miss fixed camera more linear Pokemon btw? I know a lot of people like the open stuff and I do too but I really enjoyed the simpler nature of fixed camera routes.
I honestly hope Pokemon never is that visually noisy. Part of the reason Arceus has its claws in me is that it being so visually simple is so much easier to process after a full workday. Simpler times.
EXTREMELY low bar.
So, aside from the fact that this game is going to be rushed (and is going to be rushed), there's also that fear at the back of my head that it could ignore all the positive changes that Arceus made to the formula like the natural transitions between battles and multiple and fast ways to capture Pokemon.
The world does. I'm just talking about the whole Pokemon formula. The fact that this is releasing so soon from Arceus makes me nervous. But this looks like a natural evolution of Legends in every way.
The things is, SWSH shouldve had a post game outside of the DLC. Said DLC was quite fun and the bits with Calyrex were some of my fave legendary-related content in years, but it was extra money on top of a game that seemed lacking at full price.Honestly, with the Arceus free patch showing us they're ready to experiment with updates beyond DLC, and the homerun that Sword and Shield DLC / its general post-launch support were I'm not too worried
This game can + will get 2 years of support and I can't wait
Thanks for the comment. I'll remind myself not to expect too much of the tiny indie dev team that runs PokemonEvery Pokémon game since at the bare minimum gold/silver had blatant glaring flaws.
I think you'll survive, somehow.
those names are spanish as fuck. makes me wonder what the Spanish names will be
Interesting to already see Hisuian Zoroark.
Lol STRONG disagree. The artstyle is putting in work for PLA. Everything else is a mess visually.Yup, people (including myself) shat on arceus before launch and it ended up being possibly the best looking game on the system.
PLA should absolutely not be skipped. It’s a GOTY-tier release as far as I’m concerned.I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty hyped for this games.
I skipped BDSP and LA, so I long for some Pokémon. A new gen with an open world sounds great. And I also love the setting and the new starters.
ask Nintendo and/or God for a Switch Pro. Things won't change until thenIt's a perfectly valid critique? I loved Arceus, but would obviously like the game to be a little stronger technically.

Again, talking about the transitions. Not wasting any time between reaching the Pokemon and fighting it was a huge deal. They can keep the Arceus catching formula but I need it to have the classic combat system. The Arceus one was extremely easy to exploit.
