You know what else would be cool? Partner NSO announcement. Let’s get all the square, Capcom, and Konami stuff in there. I assume most of the years old collections aren’t selling as much as the Nintendo royalties might bring in (I have no clue how the money pencils out). Could give us a lot of the obscure stuff too

Partner Showcases are for third party publishers, not developers. The FE4 remake would be published by Nintendo worldwide even if Koei Tecmo were the main developers, and thus couldn't be here unless it's a regular mini and not a partner showcase.

Mario+Rabbids and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes showed up in partner showcases because they weren't published by Nintendo (Specifically in Japan for Three Hopes, where it was published by Koei Tecmo)

I was gonna correct you and say AoC was fair game, but that also wasn't published by Nintendo in Japan, although this argument completely falls flat when it is brought up that the Switch port of Part Time UFO was announced and released during a Partner Showcase, despite being published by Nintendo worldwide:p
 
Honestly, I would LOVE an Endless Ocean 3.

Team up with some scuba brands. Make it fish fact heavy.

When I win the lottery, I’m going to set up a dev studio and we’re just gonna make clone versions of this and Wave Race.




I will lose all my winnings.
 
Nintendo needs to look at this thread, see there’s clearly disproportionate demand for a new Endless Ocean, and foot the bill.
 
Tryna buy Mameda no Bakeru but I literally can't search for it so I'm scrolling through all releases on the Japanese eshop wooooooooooo
 
I want an Endless Ocean 3 as much as the next person but… isn’t it Nintendo published? It wouldn’t be at a Partner Direct, right? Would love it if it were there anyways, though.

Very happy that third parties are coming through while Nintendo cooks up in the background, so many games to look forward to even before the partner showcase
 
My somewhat reasonable hopes--

--Penny's Big Breakaway shadow drop (or release very soon)

--Dragon Quest 3 HD news/release date (it's been forever since the announcement, it's time!)

--I've already played and loved both, but I'd really like more people to get access to Hi Fi Rush and Pentiment

One of the dream games I've always wanted on a Nintendo console is the Half-Life games (specifically 1 but ill take what i can get), considering we got the Companion Collection I feel like it's definitely not a 0% chance, but it might just be my hopeful wishing talking lol
 
Screw it here are my absolute unrealistic wishes despite this being a partner direct:
-fire emblem 4 remake
-new Megaman of some sort or legends/starfield collection
-new starfox
-kid Icarus uprising remake
-3D donkey kong
-Klonoa 3
-xenoblade warriors
-new 2D rayman
-guilty gear strive switch
-SMT V Ultimate
-GameCube virtual console
-n64 virtual console updated with smash 64
-pokemon gen 1-3 on GB/A VC

I’m not getting any of this LOL
 
The only third party reveal that would make me excited would be Persona 3 reload. However I feel if that's gonna happen it's gonna be Switch 2.
 
Theoretically, could a movie announcement be part of a partner direct? If so, there's no better time to announce a Splatoon movie!

Looking better than Xbox and PlayStation right now (this is not console warring. Just reality based on the recent events. Industry is in turmoil but Nintendo seems to be trucking along).
 
All I want is a demo for Unicorn Overlord; anything else that catches my eye would just be icing on the cake.

I wouldn't be surprised if Team Asano has already moved onto the Switch 2, but I would love to see a new game from them announced during the Direct.
 
While i do love most of Nintendo First party offerings, i do dabble with some third parties as well, most recently Prince of Persia which is a splendid game minus the defacto Ubisoft bugs.

Two things i want to know, How long will this direct be and will it show something that genuinely catch my interest......

that i will buy and play on my brand new shiny Switch 2 later this year 🤪
