Man I still need to play TMS, it’s been on my ‘to play’ pile for ages.

Those peach outfits are all really cool! What a nice set of designs, it’s cool to see that, like Mario, Peach can be anything. Opens up options for her going forwards.

I get your point, but it's still Tuesday for the entire West Coast of the United States lol. It's 11:35 at the time of this post.

Nintendo has never posted a Direct announcement past like noon for PST. I don't see how it being yesterday in some places matters when the standard time for them announcing a Direct is more than 12 hours past.

The music just randomly plays out while playing the game. It kinds of amusing listening to a full song instead of a soundtrack after half an hour into the game. I don't pay attention to it really but just remembered that there are some vocal songs from this game. I think there are two more if I can remember correctly.

If you're asking about what type of game is it, it's a management type game where you manage a goofy hospital.

It’s very good! Personally my favorite SMT/Persona game thanks to a solid battle system, unique dungeons, characters having a series of quests attached to them with no time limit, and of course the unique setting + great energy throughout.

I think what Magic-Man was getting at is we still have Wednesday and Thursday to go for potential announcements. We haven’t even started Wednesday yet for some of us (me included!).

Personally, hard to go past BB's Theme from Death Stranding
 
In terms of vocals, I still really like the full version of the main theme from FE Fates, ‘lost in thoughts all alone’, it’s gentle and haunting.




Edge of Dawn from Three Houses is really good too, it matches the game so well, the singer wanting to stay where things are peaceful, perfect days but knowing there’s war and parting and darkness ahead.

Oof I did not interpret it like that. I thought "It's still Tuesday" meant there's still time for an announcement. Personally I would've phrased it as "It's only Tuesday..." if I was trying to get the point across there's still a chance for an announcement on Wednesday. Hopefully it makes sense where I'm coming from.

I mean hell yeah, fuckin gorgeous, the ears of the world were privileged to hear that, but why was that playing during the Olympics?? Especially while the announcers were talking about the New Zealand national anthem? 😅😅😅

There was a good deal of video game music that year. It was both silly and cool at once haha.

6 hours to go! Utsuroi is great fun to sing and the drums are killer! I heard the song way earlier than I started experiencing it properly for Arc 2 of Magia Record since the song released alongside the opening song for the first season of the anime. I checked out the OP (which I shared above) it was attached to at the time and dug it a lot then, but more recently it became my favorite OP overall for Magia Record since I discovered the ongoing Arc 2 fan translation. Anime OPs are more fun when you know all of the characters haha. (Most of the characters in it are new for Arc 2)

Lots of music from video games as a sort of tribute to video games being a key part of Japanese culture worldwide, and reportedly due to the pandemic and the Olympics happening while Japan was in lockdown etc... there were a lot of protests/criticism and companies like Nintendo pulled their involvement with the Olympics/Opening Ceremony seemingly at the last minute (though there are some reports that they cut some other Nintendo focused content from the ceremony so Nintendo pulled out entirely)

So many choices. I removed Melodies of Life and Pollyanna (I Believe In You), but I feel really good about this choice because it’s the unquestioned greatest video game lyrical song of all time (as proven by science).

I think the first or second partner direct of 2020 was announced at 11pm here in europe, thats should be like 2pm in PST.
Granted that was a different sizuation because of covid, but there is a precedent.

edit: ok maybe I'm remember ing wrong because the tweet was just so off schedule
the tweet for the third one was at 7pm:

But outside of that I remember one being annouced even later.

It's possible that Nintendo wants to announce new games at the same time as the Switch 2 or soon after.... And it doesn't matter if those games come out on Switch or not so they don't want to put resources into another Nintendo Direct. I don't agree with their way of doing things. But that's the only explanation I can see.

This is legitimately one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in any video game, though obviously it doesn't hit as hard if you haven't played Finding Paradise.

Ooooooooooh okay so they didn't pick songs to represent the countries that were coming out, it was just like a big mixtape of stuff and some of it was picked to honor the host country's culture. That makes more sense than me thinking someone picked that song to represent NZ. 🤣
 
So the peach stuff could be hinting at either a new peach trailer today, or a mini shadow drop??

Wow the lead up to this next presentation has been wild, whatever it ends up being it's been a ride!!

I really liked Devil Trigger when I first heard it because it’s such a bop! It’s been so long since I played DMC5, but I think I swapped Dante’s battle music over to Devil Trigger too since it felt best to stylishly take down hordes of demons to.
 
Dunno why there's arguments for a Mini/General again just because of the Sailor Peach stuff.

There's still the fact that they dropped everything Splatoon yesterday on Twitter. If they were to have a Mini/General, the stuff could've been dropped there.
(And yes, i know the Sider Order Overview trailer would be too long, they would have a shortened one for the Direct and upload the full one after.)

If anything, the Sailor Peach stuff being dated for today imo means they have another batch of Twitter drops today.
