They finallly learned not to say "it's 202X games". Winter is so much better and includes 2024 too. Now Nintendo needs to show some games we won't see for 2 years again.

to be fair looking closely at it the wording is very slightly different than usual, it says "focusing on" and usually it says "mostly focusing on"

does that mean anything? who knows(probably not really)

This is the PEAK of video game music. Just so incredible and emotional and gives such a vibe of hope and freedom. I just love Gusty Garden Galaxy.
 
Anybody got a link to Nate's predictions video? I thought I saw it posted in the thread but now think I'm dreaming because I can't find it on YouTube or Google podcasts.

Given your recent trend of wanting more wild, unpredictable way of how things are going with the Directs and wanting the unexpected I would think this is a change you'd welcome!
 
To be fair with it being a 40 min direct the bird really didn’t leak much in the end. So plenty of surprises to be had

I don't get it. Like even if they just focus on Winter. Winter is pretty much till March for Nintendo. Furthermore, they often just shared things outside their "focus" often :p. Oh well, I am excited and hope Fire Emblem 4 is finally coming! Also something Xenoblade would be great.

I'm kind of against the idea of spoiler free and am tempted to make a bingo card with all of the "spoilers" in it and post it in the spoiler free thread. Of course I won't do that because I'm not an asshole, but ultimately I do see Directs as commercials and the idea of spoilers for commercials as a bit too far, though I know people have lots of fun with the surprises in these things.
 
This is going to be last or second last direct featuring Switch 1 only games.

Hope everyone here enjoys it.

Its clearly they will date their Q1 2024 lineup, as per leaks, it will probably consist of Princess Peach, Another Code 1/2 R and maybe LM2R, Mario vs DK (or some surprises).

Metroid Prime 4 as last reveal with a “spring 2024” date.

And thats all, assuming Switch 2 launch is in next year fall, february direct can served to announce their spring/summer lineup that I imagine will have Fire Emblem 4 Remake.

The fear of spoilers and leaks ended up really funny because honestly, Pyoro didn’t leak much lol.

Nothing he leaked was giving opener or closer at all. Just minute-long middle of the direct headlines.

My favorite part of this whole Process™ is when the site starts to visibly chug, it's like the best LMAO
