When the Dread title dropped I was all “NO WAY” and my friends were confused because I already got excited from Metroid 5.

None of my friends are Metroid fans.

The only argument imo for a Superstars 2 on Switch would be if the game is primarily based upon Mario Part 5-7. The capsule system those games used would necessitate a change to the core game mechanics and would not gel with current Superstars.

Yes I realize in theory you could make a MP with multiple gameplay styles and unique maps for each, but as we saw with Super that would lead to each style feeling half baked.

I, for one, am not concerned about that. Nintendo is doing well enough to keep putting out games for the foreseeable future, and that's enough for me. If they drop another Wii U, I'll reevaluate.

Of course, I have nothing but respect for the hard work that investors do in holding those suits to account. It's only thanks to your dedication that virgins such as myself can sleep peacefully, knowing that you're out there on the front lines of bean counting, ensuring that the big N stays comfortably in the green.

I've decided that Metroid Prime 4 will close the Direct because part of Nintendo's next-gen launch strategy is to maintain big software momentum, and MP4 is the biggest game they've got that they can show right now. I think they cemented their marketing strategy for the game back when MP Remake dropped, and Nate said at the time it was being prepared for this fiscal year.

Unfortunately I personally think the odds of a Wii U collapse are pretty unlikely at this point.

What sucks is my friends were actually talking about putting funds together to invest in Japanese businesses roughly around the time Nintendo was in the middle of the WiiU gen, and I had this "trust me guys" feeling that Nintendo was gonna be coming back strong because of games like Bayonetta 2 and Xenoblade X showing they weren't playing around anymore, and I swore that by the time the new Zelda came out Nintendo would gain tons of momentum and their stock would be back up.

Had no idea I was right, or that it would coincide with a hardware launch that would take Nintendo waaaaaaaay up, but either way I can at least feel slightly smug that my intuition was actually good. Even though nobody listened to me and they ended up not pooling money or anything that they said they wanted to do anyway.

Point is, I was right.

I regret not buying Nintendo stock back then. I thought constantly about buying $300 worth when it was at a rock bottom $3-5 a share in 2014, but I never did because I was scared of my lack of stock market knowledge.

As for the contents I dont really care too much, usually its a solid show(need to close with Prime 4 though!!!)) But a 2D/3D DK game besides Mario VS DK would be great. Also Ill take more footage of Wonder and RPG. Oh and Mario Kart Wave 6 is definitely gonna be there lol, lock it in.
