Who knows why Nintendo does what they do. I mean why announce it at 11 pm in Japan? Lol. Why not announce it earlier? They used to do directs in the first half the month for like 6 years straight. We never figured out why they did that.

I just found it, someone tweeted “what do you think about the number 13” and he liked it.

I still think it’s odd people are discrediting him based on his likes and not his actual tweets but it doesn’t matter at this point, Thursday we will see if he got the content correct!

They’re doing that because everything he likes that’s related to the Nintendo Direct is true. There’s a pattern then established since the June direct. We’ll see how he continues with this direct.

I don't want to dig through the thread or read Pyoro messages, since I don't want to know what will appear in the Nintendo Direct nor have any clues about what will be in it.
But I want to ask a question, I'm not looking for the answer by browsing through the thread because I'm afraid of finding spoilers.
The question is if Pyoro has said the date of the Direct or any clue, or if we have any reference to the day of the Direct, since we are on Tuesday after the announcement time and we still don't know anything, thank you.
 


I've always interpreted this like as "the week of September 13th", given that the previous tweet was "but your cat can't say the week". I don't think Pyoro was referring to the right date, just the right week here.

The PyoroLied arc has not yet been confirmed

Did he remove those likes, it didn’t look like he liked anything from 5/31 to 7/17? But I do agree he liked a lot of FZero 99 tweets this time to make it seem like a hint, I guess we will find out (I’ll be happy with anything FZero though)

Pyoro liked a tweet with the number 13. Nate strongly implied via his podcast it was the 14th.

People been predicting the End of Life Direct since 2022 and now it's potentially here nobody's ready

I think that even if Switch 2 releases H1 2024, 3D Mario will be the holiday title.

Which somehow leads me to believe Mario Kart might have a chance to be 2024. And if it is, I can see 3D Mario being cross gen(Mario Kart being exclusive obviously).

And Metroid Prime 4 might be the launch title, with Mario Kart the following month, DK later in summer, 3D Mario in October(maybe Mario Party too??) and Pokémon Legends 2 or Black/White remakes in November. Would be a killer launch window.

And hell there's even a chance for Animal Crossing making it for spring 2025 so still in the first 12 months!!

I didn’t even thought about Animal Crossing. 3D Mario, Metroid Prime 4, maybe a new Kirby game and some big third party games would make it a killer lineup for sure

  • confirmation that Switch 2 will have gigantic lasers
  • at least 61 different new third party games
  • confirmation that Nintendo's quality of life initiatives mean I will no longer have to sleep and will now have more time for RPGs

These are called Mario Bros Wonder, the upcoming Sailor Peach game and, of course, Metroid Prime 4.

Dunno about you, but to me that's like 300% more than Wii, Wii U and 3DS got at the same time in their life. ;D

We all know Nintendo lurks in here, I’m sure these are already in the Direct but if not they have a couple days to right their wrongs (also add a new Star Fox game)
