I love exploring the world of XCX more then almost any other game ever. Sadly the story and characters really let the game down, and your forced to engage with them to unlock Skells which are needed to access parts of the world. Considering how great all the other Xeno____ protagonist are, having a blank slate MC was a huge misfire imo.

I like that the focus is on the world and not too much on the MC. Really love X, hope it have another chance now that Xenoblade is a bigger brand.

As someone who played the first game when it released and loved it, it took me until giving X a second try to truly get it. I'd love to see a remaster add some much needed QOL features and improve the UI, it's the most obtuse game in a series of obtuse games. At the very least I respect what it was attempting more than I do with 2 and especially 3, which felt too safe.

I can't believe they gave 1s perfect ending two sequels but left X on a cliffhanger for now more than 8 years.

This recap is still accurate for anyone who's out of the loop. As of right now, Pyoro hasn't hinted, rumored or leaked anything new
 
Oh we're rating Xenoblade games now?

2 >>> X > Torna >>> Future Redeemed = 3 > 1 >> Future Connected

Pretty much 2 great games in the series and a lot of OK stuff with some high moments. 3 left me absolutely bored to tears at times though. It's hard to state just how good Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is. A game of the generation.

-Xenoblade 3

-Xenoblade X




-Xenoblade 1

Idk why we're ranking Xenoblade but I'll join in:

3 = FR >>>>>>>>>>>>> 1 = Torna > 2 = X = FC

All of them are good, including 2, X, and FC despite being low.

This recap clarly shows that the leaks concerning F-Zero are very unclear. Maybe even F-Zero still doesn't exist !

I haven't kept track of how foolproof the "amiibo always ship with a game" pattern has been, but unless the Zelda/Ganondorf amiibo are releasing in early November with WarioWare and the date just hasn't been announced yet, we should get at least one more game with a physical release this year, right?

I can't take it anymore.

Pyoro STILL hasn't leaked ANYTHING today. I'm in shambles, I don't know what to do. How will I go on not knowing every single thing that will happen in the Nintendo Direct? I cannot function without Pyoro's leaks. I need Pyoro's leaks. I am nothing without Pyoro's leaks.
 
Even if Xenoblade 2 was the best game ever, I just can‘t get over the character design or the concept that a 15 years old boy carries around women swords. Another thing is that I like to play in handheld mode and that game was at least at launch too blurry.

I‘m glad people enjoyed it and I don’t judge anyone, I mean other Xenoblade games have similar issues with Sexualisation and I was able to enjoy them just fine.

It has more to do how much you are able to overlook certain things to enjoy the aspects you like, but the characters are a core aspect of Xenoblade Games and this was just too much for me, at least in the 8-10 hours I played the game.

Though the soundtrack seems to be amazing.

Can I just say that I am an unironic fan of the DS Mario vs. Donkey Kong games? The Pyoro leak has made be genuinely excited to see what they do after 7/8 years of no Toy Mini Mario/MvDK games. I'm also hoping for a remix of this:


EDIT: I will also say a new one does make sense in the present day due to Pauline's considerably larger fanbase nowadays compared to when these games were being made, since we are now in a post-Odyssey era of the franchise... she even cameoed in the movie!

In terms of first party (counting Another Code for Nintendo publishing), this could very well be it. Beyond updates on games we already know (Wario ware, Splatoon DLC, and Luigi's Mansion will probably show) it wouldn't surprise me if this was most of the "new" first party content in the Direct. Beyond what we know, I'd only put money on something Metroid related (another Prime remaster or Prime 4) or maybe a smaller scale Zelda spin-off.

Oh right, I forgot about Fire Emblem. I can't imagine that would be the closer though.

Either Pyoro got ninja'd (RIP) or that really was like 85-90% of 1st party announcements. If it's the latter, I can't see the Direct being anything other than a Mini - a pretty meaty one at that, considering how close the Switch is to being on life support. I think they might hold off till the Switch 2 announcement event to reveal Prime 4 as a cross-gen title.
