For sure. Hell I remember I was so desperate when I heard Cing was shuttered that I emailed Nintendo of America asking what was gonna happen to the Kyle Hyde IP. I swear I got back the snarkiest email response from someone who thought I was trying to swipe the IP away from Nintendo and make my own game 😂

As long as it ain't dead in the water forever, those puzzles were oddly charming and the story was masterfully crafted

Not responding to you specifically, since others also expressed similar sentiments. I just think that some are expecting perhaps a bit much from Pyoro. They are not promoting a podcast or trying to sell anything, and seem to be another enthusiast (like us) having fun. It isn’t necessary to demand them beholden to any arbitrary standards.

Not gonna bother reading every post, but when that Ashen user said "hope you consider donkeykong 'big'", "big" was in quotations. He'd be big compared to the minis, which are indeed, mini sized. So they were really right all along. Bravo Kojima, I want off this ride.

1. I no longer believe the Smash restocks will be for a Pass 3. With the current information out there currently, it makes little sense. However, I also do not think this all will only relate to the Sora Amiibo. I think this is leading to an "Ultimate Deluxe" on new hardware is the most probable option and accounts for everything, including changing the packaging to remove any mention of the Switch.
2. I have no idea if the Smash stuff will be in the direct. I don't want people dismissing this entire theory if it isn't. If we get nothing, that is even stranger since they didn't announce the restocks when they actually restocked them.
3. They moved the MK8 Holiday Bundle to October and not November. This is a really weird thing to do if they weren't going to announce something relating to hardware around the month of November.

I also want to apologize if this stuff doesn't actually pan out all by the end of the year. I would have no idea why Nintendo would decide to break a basically 7-year-trend now for no reason. This took a lot of time and research, and presenting it to the public only for it, basically for the first time, not mean anything, would really suck, to put it lightly.

I do think everything listed, being Smash, Zelda, Mario, and Metroid restocks, will mean something, and it would be weird if at least the Zelda and Metroid restocks weren't for this upcoming direct.

That's all I wanted to say to the people willing to read. Once again, I have high hopes this will all pan out; "when" is just the thing in question.

I’m with you that it would be super frustrating for it to not pan out after you showed it to everyone lol.

But, it’s an amazingly well researched post that will always be available as proof that you were on to something that was true for such a long time. Anyone who doubts you needs to look no further than the evidence that’s right there!

I mean, Another Code on DS did get a good enough reception to get a sequel on Wii. I'm pretty sure it was one the few Nintendo Visual Novel game that were relatively successful.

If they decided to remake other VN after Famicon Detective, I wouldn't be surprised if AC was among their first choice

If he could just say a flat out no and pull the plug before the direct I'd be happy as well to not expect it.

It feels very weird to cut the part of my post where I explicitly say it's fine to have a game with emotions.

But SPP's crying mechanic very much feels just like a "Women are so emotional!" thing that has no real connection to actual emotions, lol.

It's used as a dash mechanic and a water gun mechanic.



She's just crying hysterically here (and obviously for no reason as it's just a gameplay mechanic you can activate at any time) and that feels very sexist and something games staring men wouldn't do.

It is what they did last time, that's how we found out the SNES remake was mario RPG and the new 2D Mario was called Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Women generally score higher in trait neuroticism on psychological tests so it's not totally based on nothing lol

Same here! I'd be satisfied with this alone! But I'm thinking it's still too early. Hoping for either February or June Direct of next year semi-realistically on this one. I do still firmly believe these games are coming to the Switch.

If the complaint is "hey this game portrays women as emotional and crazy" going full Jordan Peterson with "ackshually women are in fact statistically more emotional and crazy" is the worst possible way to respond.

Well sure, But basing the game solely on that is a bit silly. I haven't played it so I don't know the depth of it but from what others say. Meh, anyways, Trust the process
