  • Metroid Prime 4! I #trusttheprocess.

  • Metroid Prime 2! I #trusttheprocess.

  • Metroid Prime 2 and 3! I #trusttheprocess.

  • Metroid Prime 2 and 4! I #trusttheprocess.

  • Metroid Prime 2, 3, and 4! I #trusttheprocess.

  • No Numbered Games, But Something New And / Or Cool! I #trusttheprocess.

  • I #trusttheprocess, but it will test us with nothing for now.

  • The process has forsaken us and I have forsaken it.

  • Only Metroid Prime Federation Force HD For Some Reason.

  • Just A Random JPEG Of Sylux In HD.

I've brought this up before, but I think it's honestly decently likely that if we do get WW/TP they'll be 3D All-Stars style Gamecube ISOs on a disc and the Wii U versions will forever be stuck on Wii U. Nintendo only has so many resources to work on porting stuff and they probably internally view remakes (especially one that was basically a way for the Zelda developers to get familiar with working with HD development and another that was outsourced to Tantalus) as nonessential versions.
Nintendo isn't going to give us inferior versions of one of their games when the HD versions exists, especially when those versions have been praised for their quality of life changes, which Nintendo marketed too. WWHD and TPHD won't need much porting work, and they're very likely already done and just waiting to be released.

Week 3 – From recent reports, we allegedly have another year ahead of more Switch. Which untapped series or character would you like to see get a new game before Switch 2 hits.

I find this a bit difficult to answer because I feel like certain games maybe should be held off for the next system for a variety of reasons. That said...

Wave Race, for sure. Takahashi's comments got my hopes up and I'm a little disappointed that nothing has materialized so far. I still go back to the original on N64 because it's such a perfect little game that I wouldn't mind if we just got a "Wave Race 64 Deluxe" with better graphics, water physics, new and remixed music, bigger dolphin park as well as additional tracks and racers.

Of course, I'm also the person that keeps posting this gif:

so I wouldn't mind waiting for it a little bit longer...

Picross 3D!

I love normal picross, but there's something special about the 3D kind and it's been thousands of years since round 2

(I know about and love Voxelgram nobody needs to recommend it to me)

We've done Picross 3D before

It's time for Picross 4D

i know grubb said on the latest bombcast that there is a September direct, but not sure if its an estimated guess on his part or if he’s heard anything.
That’s why it’s good to know the context when he way saying it. Do you know the timestamp?

If Lukas tells you to fall backwards, you fall knowing that he will catch you. A true believer wouldn't first ask if he was behind him.
I’m… I’m sorry. I‘m sorry. I trust Lukas. I trust him. I believe in him. He will always be there for me as long as I have faith… I’m so sorry…

We’ve already finished our second week of the Direct thread. That means we should have only four weeks or less to go if the September Direct arrives in time for TGS! Rumors should start picking up once Gamescom is over as all eyes will be on September! As we enter Week 3 it’s now time for our next question :)

Curious to see what y’all pick! I think I’m rooting most for F-Zero and Fortune Street myself :)

CUSTOM *inhales* ROBO

Really want to see a new Wario Land happen. I always thought that Wayforward could be a good fit for that series, so I'm kinda hoping Nintendo was happy enough with Advance Wars that it opened some doors for them.

Would also really like them to do something with Panel de Pon. Heck, Tetris 99 is right there, just do that with Panel de Pon; you could even still do all the custom themes, since that series is no stranger to getting reskinned with different IP.

Nah, we still have roadmaps to complete for GBA, GB and N64. And I don't see them adding new systems yet.

Only possibility I see is a previously unannounced game getting a spotlight a la Earthbound in Feb 2022 Direct, but even then I'm not sure what game would warrant such a spotlight
The GB roadmap is actually complete

Golden Sun. I'd even be content with a remake of the first two games combined into a single one as was the original intention by the developers :/

Also F-Zero, which seems slightly less utopic :')

fwiw, they're actually done with their GB roadmaps, save for Japan still needing The Frog for Whom the Bell Tolls. But the Color games that they announced are all out now.

Mainline Pokemon games would probably be big enough to justify a mid-Direct announcement.

Also, I'm not saying I'm expecting it, but I'll just throw this out there: Mother 3.

That Pyoro person is still leaking stuff. They said n64 nso news is coming later today. It’s probably Mario Party 3. That only leaves 2 games for N64 before the direct.

Road map
N64- 2 games
GB- 0 games
GBA- 4 games?

The GB roadmap is actually complete

You can jump in too, UH !

DK ! 94 !

I'm an Nsider.

Because I signed up for Nintendo's forums back in 2004. You can't take that away Nintendo, even if you did shut down the forums.

Is this the quarter where my insider era truly begins?

And am (insider) out.

I'm thinking a Marvelous remake and/or a frustrating vertical single-screen platformer starring the Ice Climbers.

By all means, share your laundry list of third party wants!
Well then 👀

Goddammit Sega:
Sonic Adventure
The Shenmue series
Jet Set Radio
Power Stone
Skies of Arcadia
NiGHTS Into Dreams

Goddammit Square:
The Quintet Trilogy (or at least Terranigma)
Chrono Trigger

Goddammit other people:
Fantasian
Spark the Electric Jester 3
Trails in the Sky trilogy

Edit: I just realized you said "new game," not "ports of games that aren't on Switch yet" but to be fair most of those series I would love to see a new entry in as well so I think it still works 😅

The tuesday two days before TGS starts? Dunno.
It happened that way last year 🤷‍♂️

Part of me thinks they'll drop the original version of Super Mario RPG on SNES Online after the remake comes out, but that'd cannibalize sales or something.
