Devolver never disappoints. I expect all of their upcoming slate to receive Switch ports too, especially Skate Story (that one looks gorgeous)
 
I'm just grinding AP in FF5 using booster until TotK unlocks. Already maxed 14 clasess with bartz ,incluiding Red Mage

One of my favourite films is Children of Men. Which is just 2 hours of artistically-immaculate shots of people suffering and dying whilst dad-rock or mournful opera music plays. One of my favourite books is Blood Meridian which is, well, Blood Meridian.

I'm a big fan of bummer media in general. Tragedy, pathos, melancholy, etc. are all right up my alley, although I do usually like there to be at least a bit of hope to it and not have it be TOO mean-spirited or bleak. But I love the emotional catharsis that comes when it's really well-done. And like you said, often those kinds of stories can have a lot of value even if they are super bleak (Grave of the Fireflies comes to mind).

I mean, I love anime like Your Lie in April and Madoka, and Wolf's Rain might be my actual favorite anime of all time. Same with games like Ender Lilies, or recently A Space for the Unbound (although that one is still really hopeful, too).
 
Have no clue how anyone can have enough space for a digital copy of TotK. Do you guys just not buy much or delete everything you don't play anymore? I'm officially running out of space on my half TB card.

I archive stuff I know I won't use again for a long time. It's very very quick and easy to do so.
 
If anyone wants to see a film that will stick with them the rest of their lives, Oldboy is going back in theaters in August. Just an absolute masterpiece.

I’m waiting for my physical copy (hope it comes on time tomorrow!), so until then I’m still greatly enjoying Advance Wars after 90+ hours played. I have 11 War Room maps left and I’m tackling Last Mission next which is not the last mission here lol.

Gonna go to bed soon and play some Kirby this weekend and hopefully 100% it. Then go back to Crisis Core and hopefully beat that before FF16 and Pikmin 4.

Edit: I misread. You meant tonight in lieu of playing Zelda. Sorry.

I will go out to the store to see if I can get a Zelda copy. Don't want to rely on Amazon if I can help it.

I’m not getting the game tomorrow, not because I don’t want to, but atm I can’t. That said, seething and staring at the starfishes and sponges from my window….


I’ll get it soon™️ though but irl comes first before games.

Refreshing the notification to see when the game will show up? If I'm lucky it'll show in the mail tomorrow but chances are higher for Monday.
Given that I'll probably stick away from most internet places that might show off the game... maybe I'll go find a movie to stream or play a different game? There's always Hyrule Warriors for me to mess around with.

That’s actually how I motivate myself to clean up my backlog. If I don’t finish games, I don’t have the space to download new games.

Picking up my TotK copy from Target later today!

Unfortunately, I didn't finish Live A Live in time but I'm in the final dungeon so I may just alternate between the two until I finish LAL.
 
My TotK copy may arrive on the weekend, apparently! I hope to be at least playing by next week Dx

Oh man, I loved this game. Hilarious as hell, maybe the funniest point n click I've ever played. Parodied every single high fantasy universe out there and it did so well. Thank goodness AB deal fell through so, maybe, even if it's a tiniest chance, this might get remastered.

The social media team probably is lol. But the company is either indifferent to upset considering this game probably limits their year end awards and thus marketing strategy. I also think that corporations bantering with each other is just marketing anyway.
 
Just gotta get through the work day. I need to be productive so I can have less work to do over the weekend. Then I can play Zelda. I'll have time off from work, and I can play all the Zelda I want, and I'll have an absolute blast...but I need to get through this work day.

my hair falls differently than his but I mean, like, in terms of length and layering
