Returning to the Metroid Prime 1 discussion, it sounds like the remaster is something akin to Halo CE: Anniversary. That game at its core was the original Halo, right down to the coding and physics. They then wrapped the new graphics around character and level models. So it plays exactly (or close) how the original played just with a new coat of paint over it. You could even toggle between the new and old graphics midgame.

Oh I have no doubt. I even stopped doing my periodic countdown to the thread because at a certain point it became obviously when, not if. I think we probably get there tomorrow, or sometime on the weekend
 
I'm definitely been slacking with my posts overall, work has kept me super busy but I'm starting to try and prioritize my own life over my job, even in the film industry which is easier said than done

For context, I first issued the challenge to beat the OG Direct thread (641 pages) on page 489 on August 30. We've done 128 pages in 9 days. I think we got this lol
 
I wonder if the next wave of XC3 DLC will be part of the sizzle reel or if it's just gonna be twitter-dropped. The extra story will probably only be revealed next year, but i can see them revealing the next Hero on the Direct

We are getting closer to the fated day. I think it will be a solid presentation, but for some reason my vibe and gut are telling me that BotW 2 will not be shown much at all. Metroid Prime and Fire Emblem will be the stars of the show. NSO is also due for an update.

My hand thing has made me less motivated to post lately as well, not gonna lie. Probably gonna off for a while anyway due to this migraine
 
Gonna grab an after work coffee with friends, only 3 more work days until this thread descends into hanging on the lock at 3PM (my time) madness. Can’t wait!
 
Well, what did you think? The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker and Twilight Princess have been optimized for Nintendo Switch. In addition the all new Legend of Zelda insert subtitle is planned for Spring 2023. Return to the Hyrule and skies above in this brand new adventure with Link. We hope you are all looking forward to these Zelda titles coming to Nintendo Switch.
 
It's kind of sad that the obvious deep lore connection of the T-Rex in SMO being Yoshi's dad who went out for cigarettes just sort of flew over everyone's head.
 
Two workdays here that may be slow due to a regional fair; weekends go by fast with college football on Saturday and the NFL on Sunday; Monday should be routine; Tuesday announcement followed by a Wednesday show. It's like two days, really. It'll go by like that.

"Aces Wild" will be the western localization name but you just know the Japanese name and story are gonna be about hanafuda
and then weirdos will well-ackshually everyone about how the original Japanese title and the localized version is nonsensical, like with Xenoblade Chronicles
and by "weirdos" I mean "me"

It's definitely going to be a partner direct with a Paper Mario Sunshine Warriors game by Koei Tecmo as the main reveal and also Bakugan 2

A pirates 🏴‍☠️ game made by the Zelda team, focused on exploring several big islands, sea battles, big bosses and solving puzzles in caves to steal treasure.
