February Nintendo Direct was on a Wednesday for NA/EU. I‘d say this is also likely the case for this direct. So if it is next week I‘d go with August 31th for US and Europe and September 1st for Japan.August 30th - an actual Splatoon 3 previews
August 31st - Nintendo Direct announcement
September 1st - Nintendo Direct in NA, September 2nd - Nintendo Direct in EU and JP
September 6th - Splatoon 3 reviews
September 9th - Splatoon 3 has arrived
Seems good to me.
I would say not really likely because of the month change between regions. Thursday in US and Friday in Japan and EU. Also, they have no problem announcing Direct on 31st and airing it the next day (new month), already happened like 6th times.February Nintendo Direct was on a Wednesday. YOOOOO NEW TIME CRISISRecently Namco filled a new trademark application for Time Crisis, i whonder if it's Forever next franchise hit
I mean Time Crisis is perfect to replicate 1:1 like Panzer Dragoon and House of the Dead
Don‘t know. They were usually pretty consistent with the alternation of a Wednesday year or a Thursday year. The announcement in a different month than the direct seem like a non issue to me, but I see somewhat the point for the airing date. I believe anyway that it isn‘t next week, but we‘ll see.I would say not really likely because of the month change between regions. Thursday in US and Friday in Japan and EU. I'm not sure, Namco does its remasters and remakes by themselves. One is releasing tomorrow, even.Recently Namco filled a new trademark application for Time Crisis, i whonder if it's Forever next franchise hit

Well, the February 2021 one was Wednesday in US and the September one was Thursday in the US. I believe this pattern about Wednesday or Thursday year was broken already.Don‘t know. Edit: also why the same day for Japan and EU? From my experience the direct usually was on the same date like US for most of europe.
BooooooooXCX port is probably never happening. The development of the game was absolutely horrible and apparently the devs don't want to go back to it (for good reason).
Gaming fans on youtube are insufferableholy shit metroid fans on youtube are insufferable.
I understand you. I was literally obsessed with the game, I used to replay the short trailer that was in the ocarina of time/master quest mini DVD bundled with wind waker. I used to see the trailer several times per day, even had a calendar just to mark how many days were left until Christmas. When I finally got to play the game, it was one of the most magical and memorable videogame experiences to me. Landing in Tallon IV with the water dropping on the visor and that music..... Simply amazing. I love the game, and the saga. You know, I was a sophomore in 2002 (high school) and I still remember trying out the demo for Metroid Prime at my local Kmart. There are only a handful of times I truly had that jaw dropping bug eyed moment with a video game and that was one of those times.
I received what would end up being my favorite game of all time along with a platinum Gamecube on my birthday that year.
I'm hyped for this release beyond comprehension.
Dude was mad that prime was the metroid game on gc instead of a 2d game. when i told him to stop with the agressivity he spat this shit on meGaming fans on youtube are insufferable
Yeah, there's a reason I think that next year could be a pivotal one for the franchise. Thankfully, it's only going on 4 years since StarFox's last appearance in Starlink, so it's not like the brand has been entirely on ice since Zero. So, if the time was right for a new game to make itself known, it would be "on time", I would say.Wow, this is a huge deal! It's the closest indicator we've gotten to a potential Star Fox coming to Switch. Emily did mention that they were prototyping it years ago. While this isn't a guarantee Star Fox is coming to Switch soon, next year is the series' 30th anniversary. Hmmm.
See, I think it was another (maybe Emily?) who put it best some time ago: StarFox has ALWAYS been gimmicky. It's what the series has been founded on, since the original was basically a glorified tech demo for the SFX chip. SF64 was also an advertisement for its included Rumble Pak. Adventure was both the best attempt to salvage Dinosaur Planet's "storied" development and also be an effective graphical showcase of what the GameCube was capable of, with its fancy fur-shading. Assault was clearly a MP-focused arcade game that had a single-player campaign shoddily grafted on. Etc, etc.Personally i dont see myself getting excited for a new SF, most likely it would be another 64 or a gimmick filled game that no one asked for
Not only that, they have few third party exclusives too. They're even treating Harvestella as one of the biggest titles of the fall season.Outside of metroid, should we expect anything else first party announcement wise for this year? Nintendo probably considers splatoon, bayo 3, Pokémon, and metroid to be a packed fall for them as it is.
Was working on a staff post about it, but this will suffice.Bowser just called Famiboards HQ to tell us that the September Direct is delayed until January so the announcements don’t get overshadowed by Animal Crossing
I always admire your keenly objective ability to determine how based something isthis is pretty based even if I don't fully agree
Yo Phantom Hourglass was good, don't let anybody tell you different.sweet, my first zelda
Overdramatic gaming fans are the best/worst. Some time ago on another forum I was having a really minor argument with another user, but because I noticed on the way he was writing that he was taking it way too seriously and because we were derailing another user's thread, I took the "you know, I think you may be right" approach to end the conversation. His response?Dude was mad that prime was the metroid game on gc instead of a 2d game. when i told him to stop with the agressivity he spat this shit on me
"I'm very calm. Don't take what I'm saying as an insult. Take what I'm saying as objective observation, because I'm right and exact.''
holy shit i lost my sides so much
in my case I wasn't really exposed to much of the good stuff, but the seafaring definitely struck a chord with child meYo Phantom Hourglass was good, don't let anybody tell you different.
- handheld windwaker
- good level design (yes, even the repeat-dungeon which wasn't as bad as everyone says it is; it gave you a firm way to measure your skill progress)

There’s a lot of discussion around PH and ST that revolves around dislike of the central dungeon and the vehicles, but I agree, there’s a lot to like with the DS Zeldas that often gets overlooked.Yo Phantom Hourglass was good, don't let anybody tell you different.

Of all the games that could have featured Sir Christopher Lee gloriously reprising his role as Francisco Scaramanga, it had to be this one. It couldn't have been one of the good ones, oh no, it had to be the "we hired a film production designer to make our level designs and now our game is a complete mess because movie set pieces and video game levels aren't the same thing at all" one.Happy birthday Goldeneye!
you're wrongpoop
Everybody Switch, if they've decided to release it after all, might be a good candidate for Friday December 2nd - get it out as a 'quiet' release. Advance Wars might also work in that timeframe. Certainly, though, the Prime release is the 'biggest' unannounced game I think Nintendo have left for the calendar year.Outside of metroid, should we expect anything else first party announcement wise for this year? Hello fellow Famiboards user Dardan Sandiego. As you might know, right now it is still the morning in the Eastern time zone of North America, where I reside. For this reason, it is early, and I haven’t quite got my entire bearings yet. Now, with all of that said, I have a simple question for you on the topic of your post:Y'all shouldn't ignore the Q-Games F-Zero leak.
