Voice acting not actually present in-game lolol.

Wheels vs. limbs?! Awesome! Hard to choose! Going with the bike, haha!

Also, Mr. Lavell looks like Takato that's doing the presentation, haha! :ROFLMAO:

I know it's not meant to be that serious, but the Tera-type stuff (and I guess to a lesser extent, Mega Evolution since they're functionally the same) is just silly and unnecessary.

Like okay, they may change type but...who cares? In execution why do I need an Eevee that's a water type instead of just having...a water type?

Def sounds like a "no fun allowed" post but I really wish they would stop with this.

The games still look great though.

Scarlet and Violet look rough in spots, but overall I’m really won over by what they showed. Just looks really fun. Wild seeing Pokemon take such a big leap forward.

It's very odd indeed in a game that is taking so many other steps for the series that they feel a need for this. I wonder (or honestly, think) if it's for the other media avenues so they have a way to re-sell the existing fan favorites

Oh, they are finally making that Pokémon game I wanted in grade school.

Way, way in now.

I don't get how random trainer battles are meant to work if they straight up give you a mount at the start and there's no defined routes.

Right? It's incredibly weird. And you're probably right on the money with the merchandising thing, which is silly too because there's literally NINE HUNDRED individual pokemon to make merch for, and they even sell sleeping pokemon plushes. Sell a chef Eevee, or a builder Eevee, or a pilot Eevee or something.

Especially because...what changes with the Pokemon? They get crystalized and depending on their type they grow the same flower or chandelier or fountain on their head. That's it.

The whole presentation was pretty lame to me. Tera sounds like a worse mega evolution gimmick; there's got to be more to it than what they showed here but I doubt it. RIght now I'm feeling indifferent.

Looks great (aside from performance, which looks rough, but oh well). Really intrigued by the whole "three stories" thing.

I'll echo what others are saying in that the new gimmick feels unnecessary in a game with all the other advancements (multiplayer, open world, non-linear), but oh well. I've always felt though that these gimmicks don't affect the games nearly as much as people say, so I'm not too bothered.

You probably see someone who wants to fight and you run up throwdown.

Don't even care, I like that Pikachu, haha!

It allows you to STAB attacks you don't have STAB to, kinda useful actually.

Generational gimmicks, like Z power etc are for to sell merchandise, you can play the games while ignoring them. Pretty sure there'd be huge demand for cystrallized pokémon toys.
