Pardon my ignorance, So what's up with the 11th? Why is that day hands off?
The 10th Anniversary of the Directs already happened tho, it was last year.Satoru Iwata’s death happened seven years ago, on the 11th of July 2015.
Miss the man so much.
I wonder if they’ll do something special next year for the 10th Anniversary of the Directs.

My counter argument:Also, Rex is the best. Everyone is just too cynical and pretentious.
My counter argument:
His outfit made BotW Link look bad. Something thats thought of as impossible.
It's not often that a "counter argument" proves my argument right.
I don't think they can pull off another Warriors title, sales-wise. Age of Calamity sold very well because people were hungry for new BotW-related content. However, let's be honest, it isn't a great game, even for a Warriors title. I think people are getting tired of Warriors titles and the FE one just released. The one thing you can say for Nintendo and Zelda is that despite the number of releases on Switch, they still have options when it comes to more titles. Even with 2 re-releases, 2 original titles, 2 Warriors releases, and a new spin-off (at minimum) in a roughly 6-year period, there are plenty of ways they can squeeze more out of the franchise:
1) new 'classic'/'portable'/'2D' title, probably co-developed by EPD and Grezzo
2) Oracle of Ages/Seasons remakes (presumably from Grezzo, reusing assets from the Link's Awakening remakes given the original games had an identical visual style)
3) Wind Waker HD
4) Twilight Princess HD
5) a bunch of other titles that they could remaster/remake (Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask HD would be hotly anticipated titles; personally I'd like to see the black sheep, Adventure of Link and Four Swords Adventures, get remade)
6) another Warriors title (perhaps follow up from the original HW game somehow; or adapt a particular period of the series lore to fit the Warriors template; the war between Hylia and Demise, or the war alluded to in Ocarina of Time, for example)
7) brand new spin-offs (Cadence of Hyrule was a surprise; we know that other Nintendo teams have toyed around with Zelda spin-offs, like Retro Studios, even if it seems the idea didn't get far)
FE3HW has sold great tho? And a new Zelda Warriors would only release 2-3 years after BOTW2 so there would be no risk of Musou burnout by Nintendo fans. Licensed Musous have been in an upwards trend sales wise during the last 5 years and even if Zelda Warriors III doesn’t sell as well as AoC it is still a game that will sell a lot more than Koei in-house games so they will ask for the license again and I would find weird for Nintendo to reject it after the success of prior KT X Nintendo titles.I don't think they can pull off another Warriors title, sales-wise. Eventually, the burnout will appear, as Nintendo fans are also playing other Musou games, like P5 Strikers. You might be right though, sales wise it can still be a good idea to put out more licensed Musou games. However, I'd like to see them adapting the formula better to each IP. BotW was known for the freedom of exploration and verticality it offered, but AoC had none of that. The purely menu-based level segmentation was also disappointing.FE3HW has sold great tho? Damn, I always thought it started in 2013… (turns out the first one was in 2011)The 10th Anniversary of the Directs already happened tho, it was last year.
I agree, it's nice to have spin-offs and collaborations with other franchises... but please, stop the Warriors thing. It's okay when you play one, even two if you like the genre a lot, but constantly repeating the same mechanics is not fun.I don't think they can pull off another Warriors title, sales-wise. No. We need Starfox Warriors first.I agree, it's nice to have spin-offs and collaborations with other franchises... but please, stop the Warriors thing. It's okay when you play one, even two if you like the genre a lot, but constantly repeating the same mechanics is not fun.
It ends up feeling like if you're playing the same game over and over but with a different skin, and it's not evolving.
The thing with Warriors titles is that they are not Nintendo’s games (even if N has a stake on it ofc) they are Koei games that Nintendo publishes. For Nintendo is either accepting Koei offer of making such a game or just not getting any game, why would Nintendo reject the offer?I agree, it's nice to have spin-offs and collaborations with other franchises... but please, stop the Warriors thing. I liked Age of Calamity for what it was, but I’d definitely prefer a follow up to the first game whenever they return to Zelda. I had a lot more fun with the series celebration angle. The most interesting question for a Zelda Warriors 3 is if they'll try and tie it into BotW again (or the next mainline Zelda after BotW2), or if they'll do something more like the first pulling characters from across the franchise into one game. Not only could a ZW3 add characters from both BotW and BotW2 to the great cast from the oroginal, it could add characters like Linebeck, Vaati, Onyx, Veran, Maple, Ralph, and Groose just to name a few.
I am one hundred percent okay with thisStinky Horse next week and nothing else would be the most Nintendo move I could possibly think of
It's not that Nintendo should reject them, but they should have a more significant role in their development. Warriors games are great for button mashing in different stages, but not for telling stories. AoC and Three Hopes get really repetitive really fast, and the between-levels cut-scenes aren't enough for breaking that feeling of repetitiveness. The thing with Warriors titles is that they are not Nintendo’s games (even if N has a stake on it ofc) they are Koei games that Nintendo publishes. We need Starfox, not Warriors.No. We need Starfox Warriors first.
I know that, but Nintendo can decide whether to approve the game before it's made or not, depending on certain conditions, like gameplay or story. I don't think Ubisoft were totally free while making Mario + Rabbids, and I think Nintendo can (and should) ask for innovations if they decide to green-light another Warriors game. The thing with Warriors titles is that they are not Nintendo’s games (even if N has a stake on it ofc) they are Koei games that Nintendo publishes. For the next Star Fox game to be a Warriors..... that would be a bummerNo. We need Starfox Warriors first.

After Xenoblade 3 feels like the right time if it does wrap the mainline story so far up. Going to be tons of characters to pull from too especially if they pull in X.I would much prefer a different warriors game. Like give us Xenoblade warriors. The potential is right there

Imagine having characters shout “I’m really feeling it!” and then 200 enemies just get blown away as You Will Know Our Names blares in the background. Perfection.
Whoever suggested Xenoblade Golf, that’s still my favorite spin off idea that will sadly never get made officially lol.
This would actually be the one that'd make the most sense!Go all the way and do Super Smash Warriors
The only new Musou game I want is Star Wars.I'm not a fun of Musou games, and i'm getting tired of my favorite games having a spin-off as a musou.
Seriously, i would prefer Xenoblade Golf instead of another musou.
