So... Xenoblade 3 previews next week?
Can somebody with more time than me make some sort of collection of all the posts from this morning that reference muncle, and the Spltoon 3 OLED Model announcement before it happened?
This feels like a pretty historical Fami event and should go in the logs for Drake pre-release history imo.
yeah, we shouldn't let hardware memes distract us from the fact that Nintendo is absolutely refusing to show any first-party footageVeeeerry suspicious that we didn't get a new trailer to accompany this OLED announcement...
Yep, it happened with Mario and I believe with Smash too. What do we think of the August release date? Is it usual for a game-related special edition to release before the game itself?
it's happened a few times before. smash switch, cyberpunk xbox one x, there's probably other examples. What do we think of the August release date? Is it usual for a game-related special edition to release before the game itself?
I expect you're right but good lord Nintendo doesn't usually do products in that price range That's going to be interesting even though all their stuff has been steadily creeping up in price.Drake is absolutely going to cost $499 USD
and Pikmin gets nothingWhat if
Splatoon 3 gets a test fire
Xenoblade 3 gets a progress transfer demo
I wanna say that Nintendo did the same thing with some 3DS models like the Yoshi one, but I can't confirm it atm. What do we think of the August release date? Is it usual for a game-related special edition to release before the game itself?

Cool, thanksit's happened a few times before. smash switch, cyberpunk xbox one x, there's probably other examples.
right on timeWell there you go lol
Pikmin 3 gets a reprintand Pikmin gets nothing
I see the logic in this, but it’s more satisfying to win when you truly believe in the correct outcomes. Keeps the losses more exciting too. #teamtruelybelieveThe thing about being on #TeamBelieve is that the prospect of being right is so much more enticing than the potential hurt of being wrong. It's definitely a risk I am willing to take.
I will sacrifice anything for Pikminand Pikmin gets nothing
Rumored to be on the 13th, yes.So... Xenoblade 3 previews next week?
It actually makes sense if they will treat it as a hardcore hardware for enthusiasts and not something that will become the new Switch.I expect you're right but good lord Nintendo doesn't usually do products in that price range That's going to be interesting even though all their stuff has been steadily creeping up in price.
Are you implying that I don't truly believe? moooodsI see the logic in this, but it’s more satisfying to win when you truly believe in the correct outcomes. Keeps the losses more exciting too. #teamtruelybelieve
Splatoon 3 was originally slotted for Summer, and given Xenoblade 3's release date bump, the OLED special edition was probably going to release near or on the original release date. What do we think of the August release date? so when they said they were just fixing it,they really doNintendo is back from winter sleep, first party news should be coming any day now. They were just fixing their old servers man
Wii Shop Channel, DSi Shop back up after months of downtime
Back in March, we reported that the Wii Shop Channel had essentially gone offline, and the same thing applied to the DSi Shop as well. It took a few months, but it seems that things are in working order once again. Booting up the Wii Shop Channel and the DSi Shop show that they’re finally...nintendoeverything.com
99% of the people who will buy a Splatoon OLED won't buy a Pro because none of us will be able to get our hands on it anyway.

So are you buying the Splatoon OLED Switch?Ha, i'm a veteran of PS5, Switch and OLED launch wars. I got two PS5 preorders for day 1.
So are you buying the Splatoon OLED Switch?
I think that if they are going to launch new hardware in 2023, they are going to announce it in 2023. If you announce it in 2022 and launch it in 2023 you are losing a lot of Christmas sales. So we know a stronger Switch is coming. It is indeed a revision and not a successor, going by the back logo being the same. Sunbreak will run at 60 FPS.
I can't find the exact post that says 2022. I see September estimated reveal. But I'm assuming 2022 release was said at some point as well.
But this is where I falter. People will go out and buy a Splatoon OLED in anticipation of Splatoon 3. We are saying that a week (or so) after those customers boot up Splatoon 3 for the first time on their brand new hardware, Nintendo is going to announce an even better Switch that is coming in two months? It just seems like a good way to really piss off a portion of your userbase.
I think it would make more sense to announce in September for launch alongside BoTW2 in 2023, or even hold off announcing until their February Direct (to again launch alongside BoTW2). Though who knows, it's Nintendo after all.
But, for the first time ever, I actually truly think a Pro of some kind is coming. And that is F'ing awesome!
See, it's not a problemNope, cause i've arrived at the sequel of "I'm a squid now, i'm a kid now" with "I'm an adult now, waiting for Drake"

unsure if I'm missing a beat or a rumor here butBut what about the Lite OLED?
That game is so dang fun.I remember 2DS XL looking super nice, but not buying one because Switch was already out.
might still buy a used one to play link between worlds
It has happen before with Skyward Sworda clean break the year after zelda, sounds like a plan
The only way it would be possible would be a much smaller revision, like Game Boy Advance Micro, it had the SP screen but OG GBA shape.unsure if I'm missing a beat or a rumor here but
I see no purpose to a Lite OLED. The customer aim for a Lite is "make it cheap as possible". Unless the previous panel stops being manufactured, I don't think it would move the needle.
At this point, it seems the likelihood for a Pro is much better than an OLED Lite. I don't think there is any real evidence for a Lite OLED, but there is lots of evidence for a Pro.unsure if I'm missing a beat or a rumor here but
