After ten minutes of a blank screen the camera pans down to Jim Ryan sitting sullen on the floor. He looks up and says:

"Oh ho ho. Thou desireth announcements, ye elden fools? Bewitched, thy be! If thou wisheth for the devil's hype, ye shall seek it."

He laughs for five minutes straight.

A blank url comes on screen that simply says "__________.com" People frantically try to figure out what the URL means, but it turns out that IGN had a guide out so they just give up and use that.

They go to the URL, and suddenly they are faced with having to complete a Dance Dance Revolution on hard using only the A, L, T, and V keys on their keyboards. People who fail are unilaterally told to "git gud." People with arthritis are told "Well these announcements just clearly aren't for you. I'm getting tired of this difficulty debate."

The lucky few who beat the DDR track are met with one of two messages;

"Ragnarok is nigh, under the eleventh sky of the cycle on high. Alas, for Kratos begets Kratos. Solemn be thy name."

Or "State of Play is dead," if they happened to go onto the Playstation website before finishing the side quest. What? You didn't know that going on the Playstation website before finishing the quest would lock you out of it? What are you, a casual?

I guess it's not impossible, but I'd bet the chances of third-party DLC making it to the Expansion Pack are very slim in general. All the more so with upcoming DLC. I could see something like the Mario + Rabbids expansion being added, maybe, but not this.

I'd say 40/60 against; I would think it has some close knit connections with Nintendo but also we've yet to see precedent for third party DLC being made available.
 
Chances of Sunbreak being in NSO are almost 0% IMO, it's probably more expensive than the AC/MK8 DLC and, more importantly, Capcom has no interest in driving NSO subscriptions so Nintendo would probably have to pay a lot for that.

Now, if Sunbreak was on NSO it'd be hype as hell.

I think it's too heavily tied to Capcom's profit module for Monster Hunter, to be honest.

Remember, they used to sell "DLC" as a standalone re-release that got people to buy twice the copies of prior Monster Hunter games. Technically speaking the fact that these expansions are normally priced compared to the base game is already a better deal than what people used to get lol.

I actually somewhat frequently carry around my hybrid Switch (in a case) in my cargo pockets. It doesn't really fit in there, but it goes in enough for it to work.

I KNOW A MIZUCAT PIECE WHEN I SEE IT

Fuck I love her art so much. I pray this vinyl is still in stock because after listening to the entire soundtrack I'm definitely in love (plus it would complement my other album that features her artwork from Siamese Youth haha)

Unfortunately I don't think you'll be able to find a copy unless you want to pay extra for a reseller's copy. I think the CD version is still available though, and has equally cool (but different) packaging.

Quick search, they have a new translucent red edition available for pre-order...for about $80CAD with shipping 🙃 Somehow the resellers on Discogs are cheaper. Maybe I should buy the game first and make sure I enjoy it before I shell out for it's soundtrack lmao

I love the game but tbh the soundtrack is so good I think it's worth owning by itself.

And oh yeah, I forgot they were doing another pressing. Oof @ that price though, that's indeed pretty steep.

I'm not sure if it was intentional, but I realized why the opening track sounded so familiar. And like...listening to the album on a second run through, I could probably get convinced to put down the money before long haha

Though if anything I wouldn't mind finding some city pop artists with original Japanese pressings on vinyl if it's even possible to be cheaper than this new record haha

Oh that song slaps, wow. Definitely similar but different enough that I can see it being either pure coincidence or an actual nod.

I have a handful of city pop records on vinyl myself, but none of them are original Japanese pressings, just reissues from Light In the Attic or Ship to Shore. Still, great stuff.

I’m actually not too mad in theory, mainly because we were looking at having to extend a 35/36 year old Wilson at probably $60 million APY, but in the short term this is definitely on the bad side. But, other than the past 20 years of Seahawks (and really only 3 total years in that time), Seattle sports has been terrible. My resolve is steeled from be a bottom dwellers most years. 2008 was the absolute worst so nothing can be as bad as that (Mariners lost 100 games, Hawks lost 12, UW Huskies went 0-12, and the Sonics were stolen to move to OKC).

This isn't something to joke about.

I was hiking one day and I came upon a pack of feral wolves. Having not chugged my Sunny D, I decided to run away but, alas, I had my map open. I fumbled and struggled to close it and, in the process, lost a number of fingers and a few toes. Thankfully I managed to dodge roll out of their aggro range in time or I'd have lost all my cash.
