What's the likelihood of the Final Fantasy pixel remasters being in the direct? Any chance of a shadow drop? I really want that collection but would infinitely prefer it on Switch

Pokémon Day is coming up in a few weeks, so I’d guess we’ll get some kind of Pokémon presentation around then, and I could definitely see them talking about that on there.

As of September Direct in 2019, the main soundtrack at the background got changed. It seems, every 2 years or so, it gets updated. Do you reckon the music will get updated this Direct or this year?
 
Big thanks to those of you who answered my desperate pleas for information.

Thread is moving too fast and I retired from Direct Hype Hysteria a good while back.

BUT I DID GET MY METROID AND I WANT MORE

I'd probably be able to avoid going into any threads or articles about it but if it was posted in one of those big, red spoiler buttons... those things that just BEG to be pressed...

The question is flawed because it presupposes that waiting for the Direct is more desirable.
 
TBH I'm immune to hype unless it's someone reputable saying "Yakuza 0 is coming to Switch" and that's when I'd get legit hyped

Yeah and overlay of whole Direct was changed too, but i don't think so maybe in the next one. But i really like the last one but this one is pretty good too.

VI is supposed to be this month. Not sure if they’ll announce the older ones coming to Switch (and other consoles) this month, but hopefully they’ll be on consoles by end of the year.

  • Bayo 3 news
  • Metroid Prime Remaster
  • Fire Emblem Announcement
Super Unrealistic hopes that are grounded in complete fantasy and will not happen:
  • Mario Kart X
  • WindWaker HD port
  • A new Rhythm Heaven

...I hope reverse psychology works

Supposedly our joy and happiness peak right before we open a present, just before we leave to go on a trip, etc… It’s the anticipation that trips our triggers the most.

So, I guess it makes sense why we all look forward to announcements (and announcements about announcements) so much!
 
No Metroid, no Xenoblade, final fantasy pixel remasters (Cloud version), but they save the best announcement for last.

The wait for the Direct is like the moment you get the notification that your delivery driver is approaching but you don't see them out of your window and you have no idea how close they are in reality.

Nah, the waiting for the announcement is the best part, like DDark said. Once it's announced it gets boring and predictable again.

The wait for the Direct is like ordering take away, seeing the driver walking towards your front door……the Direct is when the driver trips and launches your food all over the floor
 
Nintendo are planning some things for Kirby's 30th anniversary. Maybe something like an NSO exclusive title will be revealed during the Direct.

I would look, and I don't think it would ruin the direct for me. Actually seeing the games is way more exciting than knowing they exist, so the surprise being gone wouldn't take much away for me.
